The Grove at City Market offers a range of chic indoor and outdoor spots for you to host your ceremony, including a brick garden patio area in the heart of City Market's cobblestone streets and a historic sheltered space featuring an Edison bulb chandelier. The Jiddi Space & Courtyard, part of Raleigh's Helig-Levine Complex, comprises four historic buildings dating back to the late 1800s. Originally a furniture and dry goods store, the space evolved into a stockroom for Heilig-Levine Furniture Store. Restored by Empire Properties in 2005, it now serves as an event venue managed by neighboring restaurants Sitti and Gravy. Hosting parties, weddings, and events, it retains its historic charm with market lights and a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years.

Initially, the 62-acre Het Landhuis Estate was part of a 1,000-acre farm owned by the Henderson family who operated a tanyard in the area, making saddles and other leather items. One day a future bride drove past Het Landhuis; she stopped in the main driveway and asked if she could get married there. That conversation changed the course of the estate, and Het Landhuis had its Grand Opening in 2010. Het Landhuis is not your ordinary location for a wedding; this becomes obvious once you visit the grounds and look at the eight different venues the estate offers. Het Landhuis presents you with a magical setting for your storybook wedding!

In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.
