Construction on Powerhouse began in 1915 as part of an expansion project by the D.C. Paper Manufacturing Company. In 1917, the building began operating as a power plant for the paper company. Just a few short years later in 1919, Capitol Traction Company purchased Powerhouse to use as trolley car storage until 1932. In more recent years, Powerhouse has been used for event and office space. Today, the iconic smokestack still stands 150 feet above the building, symbolizing its towering impact on the history and culture of Georgetown.

The Wharf Dockmaster Building is located at the end of District Pier and your rental includes the space on the pier around it. Kentlands Mansion is conveniently located in Gaithersburg, Maryland with easy access to I-270, nearby hotels, dining and shopping. The Tschiffely-Kent property has been a landmark along Darnestown Road since 1900. The stately mansion was built by Frederick Tschiffely, and later sold to Otis Beall Kent in 1942. The elegant property now belongs to the City of Gaithersburg, and is an ideal venue for weddings, receptions, social functions and business meetings.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department rents out its meeting hall to individuals, local businesses, community groups and organizations. All proceeds from this rental are used to support the department's operations.
