I have had the honor of working in the wedding industry for nearly 8 years now & have only recently branched off as an independent wedding planner. Nice to meet you... My name is Monique Cunningham. I'm 30 years old, a proud mom of 2 beautiful rescue pups & happily married! My husband just so happens to own the most unique tropical rooftop escape, PufferFish, which just so happens to be a perfect place to take the after party! From wedding ceremonies and receptions to engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, I have executed over 300 events & personally coordinated 75 weddings. Your time is valuable & you deserve to enjoy every - single - moment.

    We had the BEST experience with Monique. We decided to hire her as our day-of coordinator about 2 months prior to our wedding because the stress of decorating the venue and keeping a timeline for the day was just too much for me. Monique SAVED US and helped create the best day of our lives! Her knowledge of the industry was so helpful with figuring out the small, last minute details when we met up about 6 weeks before the wedding. Her communication was great and she knew exactly what to do when we reached a bump in the road when it came to our rehearsal. She managed running our rehearsal and her ability to (patiently) corral our bridal party in order to remain on task was very impressive. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and my husband and I were able to fully enjoy the day and it is all thanks to Monique! You can tell that she loves what she does and she makes your day just as important to her as it is to you. Look no further, because Monique is your girl!

    My heart is SO FULL ❤️ Thank you Kara! I was so happy to help you through the finish line and I will never forget when I missed your dad thanking me during his toast. I was wondering why everyone was looking at me as I walked in with your card box and guest book from cocktail hour. The bartender filled me in afterwards, but it was so nice to get acknowledged. Your wedding was truly a highlight of my summer!

    I can't imagine my wedding day without Monique running the show! She is so incredibly easy to work with, listened to our vision and executed it perfectly. We showed up to the best day of our lives and didn't have to lift a finger. Her communication leading up to the day exceeded our expectations! The way she coordinated with our vendors and their individual timelines was second to none. The relief we felt going into our wedding week was such a weight lifted and it's all due to Monique.     To say we were blown away by Unique by Monique Weddings is an understatement! If we could give her 100 stars we would!! From the very beginning, Monique went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for our vision truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives! Walking into the venue (The Gage) and seeing our vision come together was nothing short of magical. She coordinated and communicated with our dream team of vendors, set up signage and decor beautifully, and ensured that we could focus on getting ready and truly being present with our family and friends. Monique went above and beyond the week before our wedding as well. Nick was sick, and we had a lot of last-minute tasks left to complete. Monique picked up and folded all of our table and welcome signage, making sure everything was ready without even mentioning it! Her calm and organized approach made us feel completely at ease, even during the very few stressful moments. If anything little did go wrong that day, we were not aware of it; she handled everything flawlessly! Not only was she efficient and on top of every detail, but she also brought a warm, personal touch to the entire process. We were pretty nervous about the prospect of wedding planning, and Monique consistently assured us that we were on track or ahead of schedule, checking in with us several times before the wedding. Monique has an amazing ability to bring a calm, considerate, and uplifting presence wherever she is. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our day special, and we felt that throughout the entire process. She was also fantastic at coordinating our large families for pictures after the ceremony, ensuring that we could all stay on track and enjoy some of our cocktail hour! Thanks to Monique, we were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day, knowing everything was in perfect hands.     It's genuinely hard to describe how incredibly valuable Monique was to our wedding experience. We really could not have done it without her. She was very easy to work with, always responded timely, and just made the whole wedding planning experience less overwhelming. Most importantly... it was clear she actually cared about us as people and we weren't just number (which is common in this industry). I would recommend Monique 100/100 times to anyone who is looking for a coordinator and/or planner. She is a rock star.
