With our full wedding planning and design service, we bring your love story to life in a wedding day that reflects who you are as a couple. We provide comprehensive planning on all aspects of your wedding. We take your vision to create a visionary story board, and we help you find and book the perfect venue. We are your "right hand" wedding experts throughout every detail of your wedding planning.

This is a comprehensive wedding planning service for the busy couple who is seeking a top-notch care and service for their wedding of 30 guests or less. This is a custom service and the fee typically includes the services of a full wedding planning vendor team. This vendor team includes your wedding planner, stationery designer, florist, officiant, and photographer.

This collection is a customized version of our very popular offering known to many as partial planning. This service offering is a great option for couples who want to be active participants in their wedding planning experience, and they want the luxurious experiences that come with full service wedding planning. We act as consultants as you navigate your wedding planning projects.

Some couples choose to execute their wedding tasks, but they need design advice and a few hours of wedding planning wisdom. This service is known as a "Wedding Month Management," but it includes our design guidance and 3 hours of wedding planning advice. Design/decor advice begins shortly after you book our services. Then, 8 weeks prior to your wedding, we step in to pull your plans together. We manage and direct your rehearsal and wedding day.

    Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. I cannot state how tirelessly she and her team worked so when I did meet them in person but felt like I was meeting friends who knew exactly what I wanted. You will not regret working with Kawania and Howerton Wooten events!

    I’m not sure who is the bigger genius: the professionals at HowertonWooten, or ME for hiring them!! When my now-husband and I had our first call with Kawania, we knew immediately that we had found our team captain. Kawania radiates warmth, expertise, knowledge, and understanding and those values are reflected throughout the HW Events organization. Kawania created a bespoke package and experience that reflected our needs and our budget. She was a supportive and grounding force as she helped us design our wedding before another member of her team - LaShonda - took over to put everything into action. LaShonda was such a joy to work with. She made me feel heard, understood, and supported - even when my parents were trying to push for their own choices! - and made sure my husband and I were happy with each and every decision. I had an easy time trusting her and her ideas. Our wedding day was flawless thanks to LaShonda’s diligence, creativity, and leadership. Everything from the ceremony rehearsal to our last dance and send off was perfectly executed and easy. Our entire wedding party raved about LaShonda and her incredibly helpful schedule — a HUGE bonus for this Type A/control freak bride. I knew LaShonda had everything covered - even things I never thought of - so I was able to fully relax in the days leading up to the wedding and on wedding day. The only thing I had to worry about was getting dressed!! My only complaint is that our business together has concluded — I will miss Kawania, LaShonda, and the entire HW Events Team! I guess we’ll have to plan an anniversary party!! TLDR; Do not hesitate to hire this team. It will be the best and smartest decision you make.

    My experience working with the HowertonWooten Events planning team and our couples is always very organized and a pleasure! The love and care they provide for each and every couple shows through in the stationery we partner with them to design. Their process works well with our process to ensure we create the best stationery that will properly represent their wedding or special event!
