Having spent 38 wonderful years in the Washington, D.C. metro area, I dedicated 28 of them to the financial sector before embracing my dream of creating unforgettable weddings and events. As a certified planner, I lead a talented team at Jill Smith Events and Designs, where we specialize in crafting stunning celebrations across the DC, VA, and MD regions—and beyond! Highly Recommend Jill—She's the best!
We were planning from the west coast for our Virginia wedding, and Jill was truly a lifesaver. From day one, she was incredibly communicative and kept us on track every step of the way, which gave us such peace of mind. Jill went above and beyond when it came to our décor. Not only did she help us design stunning tablescapes, but she also provided the perfect finishing touches—everything from table numbers to candle holders, welcome table, seating chart and individual name card tents to make our vision come to life! On the day of the wedding, Jill handled any issues before we even knew they existed! Her professionalism and calm demeanor were unmatched, and she always seemed to know exactly what I needed before I could even think to ask. If you’re getting married in the Leesburg/Purcellville area, you absolutely need Jill as your coordinator. She is amazing at what she does, and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding day without her!

Working with Jill was by far the best (and easiest) decision we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, I knew Jill was my girl. Throughout the months of planning, Jill was nothing but professional, efficient, thorough, and easy to work with. She was always responsive and proactive, making the process stress-free. Our wedding was truly perfect and much of that is thanks to Jill. We cannot speak more highly of her and recommend her with no reservations, you will not regret it!
