Pearl's journey began as a local photographer, capturing the essence of life in neighborhoods across Seoul, New York and New Jersey. What started as a weekend passion project - photographing families and documenting their events and milestones - soon revealed the profound impact these images had on the lives of parents and families. Inspired by the joy her work brought to others, Pearl expanded her focus to the wedding and private event spheres, dedicating herself to capturing life’s most meaningful celebrations. Her prior years of experience as a wedding planner ensures you and yours receive stunning, personalized photos.

In today’s world, anyone can replicate a photo they see online, but the how is what Pearl has nailed down! Pearl has a unique talent for directing and capturing couples in a way that feels natural, fun, and authentic. Her approach is refreshingly organic, and she creates an atmosphere that’s both energetic and productive. Having had the opportunity to work with her, I’ve not only seen her expertise firsthand but also learned so much along the way. She’s one of the rare photographers who truly knows her craft and maintains a positive vibe. Whenever she has a position available I try to seize that opportunity asap. It’s hard to find photographers with her energy and worth ethic.

Pearl Lee Photo was an incredible tea ceremony photographer for our special day. Pearl was so communicative via phone, text, and email, and she was so helpful in answering all of my questions, especially since I had no experience in tea ceremonies. Her vintage style photos were so touching, and I'm so glad she was able to capture my grandma and I in these moments. She definitely was something I didn't know I needed - her professionalism was amazing, and she worked very efficiently, knowing the best shots and how to direct everyone. I loved having Pearl as our photographer and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for beautiful, timeless tea ceremony and wedding photos.
