Hey there, I'm Emma! I am an outgoing and free-spirited photographer living in Manhattan (but born & raised in the Midwest! My heart longs for creating art and telling remarkable stories. I love a good trip to the farmers market, a wine night with my friends, and spending time with my loved ones.
Life is about enjoying the little things. Like dancing in the kitchen with your partner or breakfast in bed on a Sunday. My job is as your photographer to show you how these seemingly minuscule moments are something truly beautiful. This package is best suited for couples looking for their whole day to be covered. With this package you can expect to have your getting ready captured up to as well as those sloppy drunk dancing photos. Couples who are having traditional elements or larger weddings often choose this package.

Thank goodness for Emma!
Emma was the one and only photographer we had in mind for (both!) of our wedding ceremonies. Not only did she go above and beyond in accommodating a quick turnaround "courthouse" wedding that we were planning a year before the bigger ceremony, but she was patient and kind and made sure that we got everything we wanted out of our wedding photos. Emma's documentary style is exactly what we wanted to capture our big day. With a mix of an editorial vibe, you simply can't go wrong. You wouldn't think that your photographer would be the one to really keep you on schedule on your wedding day, but she did that and more. We were so relaxed and at ease because she took such good care of us and made sure that we were happy with how things were going. If we get married for a third time, we know who to call! Thank you, Emma, for being so good to us.

We absolutely LOVED working with Emma for our wedding. From the engagement shoot to the rehearsal dinner and finally to the big day, she could not have been more helpful, professional, and of course, insanely talented. Emma made us look like movie stars! Emma is an absolute dream!
Emma is an absolute dream! We don't know how she did it, but she immediately made two very camera-shy people feel comfortable before her lens. We were lucky enough to have her be our photographer for both the engagement shoot and the wedding day. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Emma was thoughtful, sweet and professional. She took care of things that we had overlooked and helped us envision the day of the wedding. The amount of detail and thought she puts into her work is really a testament to her expertise; time and time again, her presence helped calm our nerves. The engagement shoot went far beyond what we had imagined! She did much more than guide us through different poses; she sparked moments which she would then beautifully capture. On the day of the wedding, Emma ensured that we had all the photos we wanted, and so much more. She made sure everything went smoothly, helping us control the (inevitable) chaos of the day and take care of details that had been foregone. And of course, we are compleeeeeeetely obsessed with her photos!!! She captured authentic, fun and warm moments that had rushed us by; she was the perfect person to have around to preserve our special day. Emma and her team are incredibly talented and absolute pros. If you’re looking for timeless, intimate and candid photos taken with love, booking Emma should be the easiest part of the wedding planning process!!

Emma Melin Studios provided excellent photography services for our wedding day. Emma and Lindsay were efficient, organized, and friendly in all of our communications leading up to the big event. On the wedding day itself, they worked hard to capture all of our special moments in a professional yet natural photographic style. The quality of their work is outstanding and their rates very reasonable for the high level of service provided. Emma was our biggest advocate and made sure to follow our preferences while also guiding us to get great photos. She and Lindsay were real pros, driven to get fantastic shots while remaining positive and personable.
