This historic Japanese garden and summer cottage were built at the turn of the last century. A private estate spanning 125 acres of gardens, fields, streams, mountains and trails, it has remained in the same family all this time. The garden is recognized as an important example of the Japanese “strolling” garden from that era. Because the estate remains in private hands, it is made available by the family for special occasions on a limited basis (2-3 ceremonies per year) The venue includes the Japanese garden and the surrounding meadows and fields. If you are looking for a location for a formal wedding ceremony and reception or a destination wedding site for enjoyment with guests over a long weekend of fun, hiking, fly-fishing etc., this venue offers rare access to an exclusive, one-of-a-kind destination. We have partnered with the Frost Valley YMCA to provide lodging with hotel like accommodations and transportation for wedding parties to and from the estate.

“So, I had been working with this family to be there caterer at the venue and then the pandemic hit. We postponed and postponed and finally, after almost two years of waiting we managed to get the event up and running and executed perfectly! It was truly a wonderful event. One of the most striking and important part of the event was the location. The grounds, hand sculpted by the families heir, and the hand built home are both stunning and unique. They offer a rustic but well thought out and lovingly crafted location to really create some memories and moments which will last a lifetime! Although it is not currently a location with all the bells and whistles (you need to provide your own bathrooms for example) it is a location that is special and unique and worth every minute you spend there.”

Your Dream Oasis for a Magical Catskills Wedding. This secluded, breathtaking estate is situated on 10 acres and 3 private bodies of water, with its own private island. The property emanates sacred energy. Over time, it has served us a venue for weddings (from Chassidic to Hindu and all in between), as well as yoga and intimacy retreats, and concerts. The landscaping is designed around a sacred octagonal shape — w/ an octagonal gazebo on the island, and the main house being an octagon as well. Parking for 80+ cars, and lots of vendor staging areas. Hold your ceremony near a majestic lakeside weeping willow tree, on the island (inside or outside of gazebo), or in a clearing surrounded by flowers, facing the lake. Includes a 1,400 sq ft separated poolhouse for indoor cocktails, a beautifully appointed honeymoon suite w/ private kitchen/living room, and a 3BR main house, w/ wrap-around balcony overlooking the water, 20-foot tall stone fireplace, and a majestic 700 sq ft main BR.
