We are Carli & Hamilton Dixon, artists and business owners in downtown Dayton for nearly a decade, and residents of downtown for over two decades. The Brightside is located in the 905 E. Third Street building, which was 18,000 sq. ft. filled with abandoned clothes and trash when we purchased it. But over the last 10 years, we have worked to clean it out, restore all of its services, and renovate it to become Dayton's newest music & event venue. Standing the test of time since the 1800’s, the Baum Opera House has played a significant role in the life and history of Miamisburg. Constructed by Charles Baum, a German immigrant and businessman, it began as the Star City Opera House, one of the finest in Ohio. For 135 years the Opera House has contributed to the culture and history of the city and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our Vintage Warehouse + Barn Built by The Ohio Farm Bureau to house grain and farm materials in the early 1960's. This historic warehouse is located on 3-acres complete with string lights + French inspired chandeliers.

The Gallery, Downtown Piqua’s newest and best-equipped event venue. Adapted from a former mid-century social club, we bring the glamour of an opulent ballroom to the 21st century with a polished aesthetic. Featuring a grand staircase, dome ceiling, and stylish atmosphere, weddings, large-scale parties, and corporate events will all feel at home in our newly renovated space. Centre Park of West Chester is a brand new and modern event and banquet facility, including a wedding chapel, hotel, restaurant and bar. Inspired by the airy tranquility of the California desert, west coast vibes, and a little Palm Springs glam, this 11,000 square foot industrial beauty has been transformed into a celebration destination only 10 miles east of downtown Cincinnati. To create a base palette for you, we’ve salvaged the original 1950 structure and elements of the building, to allow its history to shine through. The open space includes exposed rafters, polished concrete floors, and extra large windows for natural light. We’ve layered in modern amenities and elegant lighting.

Karrikin Spirits Company is a Cincinnati based craft distillery and event space in Fairfax, committed to exploring our love of flavors with the community. By definition, karrikins are the elements found in the smoke from a forest fire that trigger the regeneration of that forest. In the centuries since Whiskey Hollow was settled, those karrikins have been at work to bring distilling back to this very location on Cincinnati’s east side. In Spring of 2017, seven founding members with experience in brewing & distilling, woodworking, design, and more came together to purchase a building formerly occupied by Swallen’s and later, DnD Metal to start a journey of flavor and fire. From there, Karrikin Spirits Company was formed — a full-service, grain to glass distillery producing handcrafted spirits, sparkling spirits, non-alcoholic sodas, and beer.
