Built in 1934 and renovated in 2017, the barn is a luxury wedding venue in North Raleigh unmatched in its scale and charm. The Historic Wakefield Barn is a National Historic Site that sits on 14 acres – the property includes a bridal suite, horse barn, the main barn and outdoor event spaces. Poplar Hill is a 100 acre farm that was built in 1790. The home is surrounded by mature landscape with English boxwoods and crepe myrtles that are 100 plus years old. Every couple and family that comes to Poplar Hill tell us that our pictures do not do it justice!
