About this venue
We opened Cottontail with the idea that a wedding can be both beautiful and affordable. After looking at over 80 locations, we finally found what is today Cottontail! The perfect balance of history, location, and beauty. In the heart of the growing River District of Danville, VA - we are surrounded by opportunities for you and your guests to explore and enjoy. Local dining, bars, entertainment, and history - we have all you need to host a great weekend.
Our event spaces
Cottontail and Danville
We can host between 25 to 175 guests. The floorplan design is what will determine final capacity, and we customize our floorplan for each event based on your needs. Our 60” round tables will hold between 6-8 people, and we can place up to 18 (60” round) tables, plus a head table seating up to 26. (All floorplans accommodate dance floor, buffet and bar).
