“We liked Edward Zaruba a lot initially because when we talked, he was concise and seemed fun as opposed to some of the other DJs we spoke to. Picking a DJ was hard because unlike a photographer where you can look through their work, you generally go off of price and vibes because you can’t sit through an entire set as your wedding set list is based off yourself. Edward didn’t talk too much and to be transparent, we didn’t want a DJ that would talk more than they played music, so that paired with his price point made him a good fit for us. We had a good experience with him on our wedding day. His system for the outside was simple but worked the way we needed it to. He hid everything behind some of the greenery so that none of the guests could see it and it would not be in view for the pictures. Even though the weather was windy that day, the microphones picked up well on the all of the sound. He set the groom and officiant up with wireless microphones that were nicely hidden. His speaker was loud and clear for everyone to hear. His system for the inside was also great for the space and the included dance lighting added a nice vibe for the night and turned out nice in our photos. Our only (half) complaint was we gave him a must, MUST playlist (about 6 songs), and only a few of them played. We think this can be attributed more so to lack of time to play all the songs we love and of course know even if we could have spent an additional hour dancing, there probably would have been songs we missed. Outside of that, he picked phenomenal music, and he knew how to transition from one song to the next to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun. We appreciated his ability to introduce our party and us. He spoke the perfect amount and did great with the nights transitions.”

“I love dancing (badly) at weddings so a priority for me when planning my own was that the dance floor be packed! MyDeeJay paired us with DJ Jeff who was great to work with. He was super understanding of our music indecisiveness and some last minute adjustments. “BVTLive! was all around an excellent choice for our wedding. DJ Linx was amazing! His communication was incredible; he responded to our emails and messages quickly, usually within a few minutes to an hour. We ran through the whole night with him in a few video calls leading up to the wedding. We went through all family intro pronunciations and he double checked with everyone the day-of to make sure everything was correct. He worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure the timeline was correct and everything ran smoothly. We gave him a few spotify playlists that he stuck to very well, with a few additions that were perfect. He read the room very well and everyone had a great time - kids, adults, and older relatives. The midnighters were super easy to work with! They performed for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. They have a long list of songs they are able to play for the procession and recession, and learned one song from scratch for us - a song they had never played before - and it sounded amazing. We heard so many rave reviews from our guests about how great they were. We would highly recommend both of these artists and BVTLive! as a whole.”

“Mystery Machine was an incredible addition to our special day. I had very simple requests and let them "run with it" so to speak and I'm so glad I did. He really came in asking what I wanted, I told him what I liked and he pulled together the most incredible selection of musicians, playlist of songs and order of service. My husband wanted a few obscure film scores in the ceremony, and JB not only knew them off the top of his head, he arranged them all for strings! I didn’t know what music I wanted for the recessional so I just told him what kind of thing I liked, but that I’d prefer something unknown. He pulled out three amazing options. Literally every wildest dream I had, he delivered. I even played him an old English comic song which I knew my parents would love, and he ROCKED it.
