Harpist

By the time she was three years old, Olivia Claggett was asking for a harp teacher. At six years old, she began taking piano lessons with Jean Wonders, and at eight she began Suzuki harp lessons with professional harpist, instructor, and adjudicator Candyce Dunham. She never looked back after her first lesson in October 2007. During her many years as a student, Olivia continued to push herself musically by competing in numerous competitions winning the annual Buckeye Christian School Organization’s spring competition for five consecutive years.

Sharon Valley Harp, LLC provided exceptional service for our wedding. Olivia, the owner, has a very impeccable communication style and was punctual, arriving on time and prepared. The quality of her work and value was of high excellence - she was easy to work with, great at communication, and able to cover extra time when our schedule was pushed back. Olivia is highly talented, takes great care of her clients and her harps, and does incredible work with such an intricate instrument. I can't recommend her enough.

Olivia played the harp at our wedding 9/1/2024 and did a wonderful job. It was the perfect added piece to our ceremony. She played before (while our guests and bridal party were getting seated/lining up), during (when my dad and I walked down), and after (when our guests exited) the ceremony and the music was just beautiful and peaceful. I met with her a few weeks prior to pick out the music we wanted and she had a lot of different songs/varieties to choose from. She was very responsive and showed up on time (which meant a lot being a bride). We couldn’t have asked for better music to be played for our wedding and our guests loved it/her too. We highly recommend her as a harpist for your wedding.

Olivia is the type of person that when you look up the definition of class, shes listed there. Truly kind and wonderful to work with, her music is beautiful and fluid. I would not recommend many when it comes to live music work but her work on the harp is truly an art. You will never go wrong with trusting her to provide music and atmosphere for your event.
