The interpretive center has several rooms and spaces available to rent for meetings, wedding receptions, galas, company events, birthday parties, family reunions and more! The multipurpose room can be split into three smaller spaces (Aspen, Oak and Willow), two larger rooms or left as one large room. The interpretive center also has a smaller, separate conference room, an exhibit space and a patio space that are available to rent.

Featuring spectacular views and a modern aesthetic, Brookview is the perfect place for your special day! We offer indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The Bassett Creek Room has picturesque views of Brookview Golf Course and can accommodate up to 200 guests. We are centrally located just West of downtown Minneapolis with onsite parking. The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.

The Phelps, or “Turtle”, Fountain is the centerpiece of the Lyndale Park Annual-Perennial Garden. It was moved here from its former downtown site in Minneapolis’ Gateway Park. The combination of fountain and flowers, contained by an undulating hedge, makes this a popular spot for garden enthusiasts, wedding ceremonies and photographs.

Lyndale Park Gardens encompass the Peace Garden, Rose Garden, Annual & Perennial Garden, and a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden. The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer.

The Heffelfinger Fountain, located within the Lyndale Park Rose Garden, is a central focal point offering an unforgettable backdrop to any event. It sits in the middle of a patio that’s surrounded by rose blossoms. The beautiful scene and fragrance will add the exclamation point to the ceremony of your dreams.
