Elmartin Farm derives its name from the initials and last name of Everett Lawrence Martin, Sr, father to Everett Lawrence Martin Jr., known as "Gus," who with his wife, Dodi are the current owners of the farm. Presently, sons, Kim and Shawn, operate and manage the farm. They are the 8th generation of ancestral Martins who began farming in Cheshire, MA in 1790. By the late 1950s, Elmartin Farm had become a major dairy farm in the Northern Berkshire County. Its herd grew to 80 milkers and 80 head of youngstock. Together, the herd filled the new barn which had been completed in 1952. The barn, with the addition of a milking parlor, remains the focal point of Elmartin Farm.

We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. Wyndcrest Estate Venue is set up a bit differently, which is something we pride ourselves on! We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We do not have a preferred list of caterers, in order to allow you to chose however you would like to celebrate your wedding. Our historic Southern Vermont Farmstead features overnight accommodations for 12 guests in a Farmhouse and Carriage Barn + unlimited events in a stunning Barn event space, surrounded by rolling fields and mountain views of the hollow — all for you to enjoy over a long weekend. We're featured in the 2024 winter edition of atHOME New England magazine for impeccable interior design. This isn’t a typical corporate event venue. When not hosting weddings, we support the creative economy in Vermont through fully funded artist residencies. Similar to how we support artists, as an event venue, we offer an unhurried environment over a 4 day weekend where you will have the freedom to create the weekend itinerary of your choice.

A home to Hudson Valley food + bev adventure seekers since 2013, Plan Bee Farm Brewery proudly brews 100% NYS beer. Our beers go from ground to glass within measurable feet of their origins. At Plan Bee Farm Brewery, our beers are created by the limitation of local resources. From the yeast we cultivate from our honeycomb, to the grain and hops in our fields, if it isn’t in our community it doesn’t enter our beer. Weddings at Plan Bee Farm Brewery are relaxed, romantic, and environmentally conscious. Nestle in with your closest family and friends for a garden ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by dinner, dancing, and sweeping sunset views in our brand new hilltop pavilion. We would be so thrilled to host your special day on the grounds of our whimsical woodland farm, where we proudly grow the ingredients for our 100% NYS Farm Beer.
