2 Penguins is not your typical wedding location. We are a Taproom and Restaurant providing quality food, service and beverages. We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. Welcome to Spruce Mountain Ranch! Colorado’s premier ranch style venue for weddings and events. A perfect blend of rustic elegance, Spruce Mountain Ranch is a 450 acre premier mountain venue conveniently located just outside of Denver. Spruce Mountain Ranch features two separate properties located over a mile apart, each offering magnificent hand crafted detail and state of the art conveniences. The design and setting of the ranch makes Spruce Mountain a breathtaking backdrop for any wedding or event. Family owned since 1999 Spruce Mountain Ranch is dedicated to providing not just excellent service, but service from the heart!

Cherokee Ranch & Castle features breathtaking views of the Rockies, 3,400 acres of unspoiled land and wildlife sanctuary, and a 1450s Scottish-style Castle with exquisite collections of art and antiques. The pristine property, historic venue and dedicated staff will make your event an enchanting experience, leaving you and your guests with enduring memories. The maximum capacity inside the Castle is 75 guests. During certain months of the year, our Veranda Tent is available and can accomodate up to 150 guests. The Castle is available January through December, and the Veranda Tent is available May through September (October, weather permitting).

We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and Colorado Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. The Mansion exudes charm and character with an abundance of space and opportunities to host the wedding you’ve always imagined. The Mansion is surrounded by picturesque landscaped grounds, expansive vistas, and architectural details. When you host your wedding at the Highlands Ranch Mansion, you have exclusive use of the 27,000 square foot mansion and 2 acres of outdoor property. The Highlands Ranch Mansion has a list of approved full-service caterers for you to choose from. All alcoholic beverages are purchased through the Mansion. Tables and chairs for up to 225 guests are included with your rental, and will be set up in advance of your event.
