From the moment we began working with Hector David and Ebullient Memories Films we knew we had made the right choice in our wedding videographer. He took the time to really get to know us, our story as a couple, and our hobbies. We even found some shared interests, like traveling to Japan and watching Formula One racing! Each email felt warm and sincere, like we were talking to a friend. Hector was also very thorough in finding out exactly what kind of shots we wanted him to film. On the day of our wedding, it could not have gone smoother. Hector and his team were very professional, but also made us feel extremely comfortable the entire time. We thought it would be awkward to be in front of the camera, but we hardly even noticed they were there. It was amazing how they were able to capture the essence of our entire wedding day on film! Four months after our wedding, we traveled to Hawaii for a second wedding reception with family members there that were not able to make it to the actual wedding in California. Hector was able to get our wedding short film finished by then and we were able to play it for our guests at the reception. It was a perfect way to share our wedding day with them! They really felt like they were there! We truly loved working with Hector and would definitely recommend him in the future! We will be cherishing these special memories from our wedding for years to come, all thanks to Hector and his amazing team!

Lost Generation Pictures

We are a husband and wife videography team. Dominic received his MFA in Film Directing from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and has over 10 years of videography experience. We got married on January 6, 2018 and quickly realized we had made a big mistake not hiring a wedding videographer to capture our day. We decided to start our own video production business and provide quality wedding videography services to make sure other couples have a wedding film to help them remember all the special moments of their most special day. We are passionate about filmmaking and can't wait to hear more about your love story!

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to Emily and Dominic for their incredible work. The videos they delivered were the most amazing and magical reminders of our special day and we are so excited to be able to relive those moments again and again. From start to finish - booking to the day of to after the wedding, they were both a dream to work with, making everything so easy and effortless. Video was something we weren't sure we could afford and we felt like Lost Generation Picturs offered packages that were priced well for all the content we would receive and wow, did we get more than we could have imagined, it was the BEST decision we made during our planning process. We would HIGHLY recommend working with them if you get the chance!!! Thank you again!!

Finisterre Visuals

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves San Francisco, CA

So what does finisterre mean? Finisterre is Latin. If you know some Spanish, you’ll recognize two words squeezed into one: “fin” and “tierra,” essentially meaning the world’s end. Don’t worry, not in an apocalyptic sense of the word — it’s actually a place. It’s where the Romans once stood in modern-day Spain. They looked across the vast Atlantic Ocean, and thought to themselves “is this the end of the road?” Finisterre is an ode to that majestic feeling of unknown. Getting married is one of those unique experiences.

I cannot recommend Ryan and his team enough. 100/5 stars. He was absolutely AMAZING on our wedding day at the Hideout. Our wedding video is hands down, one of the greatest memories we have from our day. Ryan was able to capture the whole day without shoving a camera in our faces. My husband and I were able to actually enjoy the day and visit with everyone without having to miss any major moments for a film shoot. He blended with our crowd so effortlessly while capturing all the detailed moments throughout the whole day. Not only that, but Ryan and his team had to be adaptable during our wedding day. We had rain and hail which altered all of our plans for the ceremony and reception, but Ryan was able to shift and still capture the day beautifully. He was very communicative with editing our video and checked in to make sure we were happy with the final result. The care and detail he put into our video was so reflective of us - I can't thank him enough.

Hi there, my name is Caleb but most people call me Cook. I spent almost 13 years in the southeast filming weddings, events, corporate gigs and commercials. I moved to California in 2012 and pursued a different career. A couple years ago I decided to get back into event videography and started Cook Captures. When shooting events I have a very hands off candid style. I love to capture people naturally having fun, enjoying the day and creating memories. Every event I film is unique and each film ends up with it’s own story and narrative that fit the couple, venue, guests and overall vibe of your wedding.

Chas and Elliot were the absolute BEST videographers we could have asked for to capture not just our wedding day, but also the special moments leading up to it. Their passion for their craft and the creative ideas they brought to life left us speechless when we watched the final video. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are also some of the friendliest, most personable people we've ever met. From our first meeting, they made us feel completely at ease. As we were inexperienced with posing and camera presence, Chas and Elliot provided clear guidance and direction, which helped us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. We were also really impressed with their investment in top-notch equipment. It's clear that they use the best gear available to ensure every shot is perfect, and it truly made a difference in the final product. The quality of the footage was incredible, and it showed their commitment to delivering nothing but the best for their clients. A San Jose hidden gem! Highly Recommended with no regrets.

My name is Ben. I am a LA-based Wedding Filmmaker who runs on emotion-driven films that tell the story of you as a couple. The wedding day for sure! - But lets be honest, the wedding day is only whatit is because of who you are together before and after the day is done. Let's get some of that. That's the stuff that lasts longer than a few years after your wedding. The stuff your kids will pull out and watch.

Ben is such a talented videographer! We are super happy with the film and had a great experience working with him. His artistic take on editing and music makes the film an emotion triggering art piece. We also really appreciate his support during the pandemic. We had to reschedule twice during the whole process, not only was he flexible, he didn't even raise the price after two years and flew all the way to Seattle for our wedding. Thank you, Ben!

I will be open and honest with you, and quickly show you what I can bring to your special day. Let me know exactly what you want, and I will work consistently with you to provide it. My goal is to create movies and videos which are authentically you.

Bruce was the absolute best! From our first phone call to my wedding day, he was so professional and kind. You can tell that he truly loves what he does. I’ll admit, I was a little worried about booking a videographer at first because I was afraid I’d be too focused on the camera following me around. But Bruce was so laidback and chill, I truly forgot he was there half the time. He’s able to step back and capture the memories in the most perfect way. We’ve already received some teaser clips before our big video is done and I immediately sob every time I watch them, he did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!

We hired B&T for our wedding videography as part of a package with our photography. It was so seamless and they were so professional! They did an amazing job capturing all the sweet moments of our big day while somehow being barely noticeable. The trailer, highlight reel, and ceremony/reception videos were so sweet, we cried while watching them. We loved working with the whole B&T team so much, I absolutely would not hesitate to work with them again. Just really wonderful people who do fantastic videography.

Hello & welcome! I have been a filmmaker and cinematographer for 8 years. I like to think working in different realms of video and film has given me a unique perspective. I see many wedding videos that look very similar, and frankly lack 'heart.' I am driven to infuse every wedding film with that special quality; hard to describe but easy to spot when you see it : )

Michael and his wife Jess were the PERFECT choice to capture our day. Their work was so complimentary to our photographer's work, they captured all the little details we wanted to remember. After having a meeting to discuss our style and 'vibe' they understood easily and incorporated our vision into the film. 100/10 would recommend to anyone.

Better Half Wedding Video

Better 1/2 started in 2011 in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2019, I relocated to Chicago. I've filmed about 30 weddings for couples with a range of venues and guest counts. What's consistent is my style, which is personal and beautiful. I tell each couple's wedding story in a tailor-cut video, highlighting the big moments and spotlighting the small ones.

Awarded Best of Zola
As a wedding photographer, working with videographers often makes my job more difficult. In my experience, most videographers try to create moments by having people do things they would never normally do. They are often an obstacle for photographers to work around. Sometimes multiple videographers are working to get all the angles and they end up creating something of a spectacle of an event when folks are just trying to be natural and enjoy themselves. I had a hard time recommending videographers to my wedding couples... until I met Jenn. Jenn from Better Half Wedding Videography is the exception. She is an incredibly nice person, super respectful of people's time and space. She brings a calming presence to weddings and eases people's nervousness. Jenn is upfront, honest, and discreet. Her work is fun and natural. I am so bummed that she no longer lives in California. When people ask about videographers, I still recommend her. She is the best!

HEYYY! *waves hands* We are Leandra + Clinton Cunanan, owners and lead videographers of Food + Cake Wedding Films. We are huge advocates for doing exactly what you want on your wedding day. We had the most epic wedding of all time (ask us about it!), but we didn't hire a videographer. And now this why we do what we do. It's the best feeling knowing each one of our couples will be able to relive their wedding day for the rest of their lives. We didn't have that, and now we get to give that to you!

I am so blown away by not only the quality of Clint and Leandra's work as videographers, but also what wonderful people they are! Not even halfway through our first zoom with them to talk about what packages they offer and our vision for the day I knew they were the perfect fit for us! Being with them on the wedding day felt like hanging out with old friends, they were amazing at blending in to the crowd to capture candid moments while also giving us prompts that created some of our favorite memories of the day. They worked so well with our other vendors and I don't think our day would have been complete without them. They are masters at what they do, and also the perfect people to have during a busy and, at times, stressful day (Leandra was able to bussle my dress when no one else could get the loop on the buttons AND snagged me some appetizers when I was resting my feet after the receiving line, she was a lifesaver!) My husband and I both teared up watching our trailer and highlight reel, and then happy cried getting to see our whole ceremony, private vows, speeches, and first dances. I know this is footage we’ll be so happy to look back on in the years to come, not just of my husband and I but of our whole families as well! I'm so happy we found Food Cake, you will not regret hiring this fantastic couple!
