“We absolutely loved our experience with Flo as our photographer and hiring her was the best decision that we made about our wedding day. We interviewed a few photographers but had an instant connection with Flo who seemed so enthusiastic and genuinely excited for our love story and wedding. She had such positive energy and we knew we wanted that kind of energy surrounding us on our wedding day. She was also willing to customize a package for us to work with our budget and our needs for the wedding day which was so reassuring - and she is worth every penny of what she charges. We had an awesome engagement session with her before the big day, and even when I broke a nail on the way there, she was so great at keeping me from stressing out. We were able to relax and laugh a lot and be ourselves on camera, and the photos were stunning. We also appreciated how Flo kept in touch with us on Instagram leading up to the wedding and afterwards - it must be so much work to keep up with all of her clients but it really felt so nice that she was following us on our wedding journey. She was so supportive, liking our stories and posts and letting us know she was consistently invested in our story. When the wedding day came it was like we were meeting up with an old friend even though we'd only met in person once for the engagement session. Flo also worked with us to figure out the "wedding timeline" that every vendor seemed to want even though we were a little clueless about it to start. She came up with a plan for the most efficient use of our time to make the day go the smoothest and it really worked out perfectly. She kept us on schedule and used the questionnaire we had filled out to make sure she got all of the shots we requested. All of our wedding party and family told us how great she was and how much they liked working with her. She and her second photographer and assistant were ON IT and captured so many moments throughout the day, they didn't miss a thing! We were able to put complete trust in her and just enjoy the wedding. As for the photos themselves, her style is so beautiful and striking and exactly what we were looking for - we love how saturated her colors are and it worked perfectly for our jewel tone fall wedding. She has a passion for sunset lighting as well and the pictures from our engagement and wedding day at sunset came out so beautifully. For both engagement and our wedding, we had a bunch of sneak peek photos within a day or two which was great to tide us over while we waited for the final products. Communication and payment and the photo gallery platform were all super straightforward. We cannot recommend Flo enough for the genuinely positive energy she will bring to your planning process and wedding day and for the gorgeous photos she will capture on your special day.”

“Read for my true heartfelt experience with Angelica at Dawnpoint, but in short - hire her. This should be the easiest decision you make in your wedding planning journey. I came across Dawnpoint after she documented the wedding of someone I know. Those pictures felt so authentic and real. They took me right to the event and made me feel so much. I knew I needed to meet her. From my initial zoom meeting with Angelica, we hit it off. I said I wanted to get the best views in our pictures. She was on board right away. For our engagement pictures, she took us on a hike. Chris and I showed up in hiking gear with our formal wear in our packs. So did Angelica. This may seem so minuscule but for two people who had never been photographed and just wanted someone to make them feel comfortable and to capture something real, this made us trust her from the get go. Needless to say, those pictures were amazing. We even used them for our save the dates! Fast forward to our wedding day in Lake Placid on June 15, 2024. My goals were ambitious but Angelica was on board every step of the way. From creating the timeline to executing the plan the day of, it was the least stressful part of our day. What I loved most was that she listened to my vision and incorporated it in everything she did that day. I even forgot that I wanted a specific picture of my dress, but she definitely did not. When I was getting ready, she had my bridal party share personal stories of us and it was so sweet, I felt so connected to the people closest to me that day and it helped me stay grounded and present from the beginning. For our first look, we wanted to meet at the top of Whiteface Mountain. This was 40 minutes away from our venue and logistically a lot of things could go wrong. Yet, Angelica was a smiling face reassuring me that we could do it. Everything from asking for us to skip the elevator line, to clearing the space on Whiteface for Chris and I to get our moment. I was and remain truly speechless of how she actually made this happen. The pictures speak for themselves. After, we returned to our venue and without delay resumed with a first look with my dad (which I added last minute and was meeted with so much excitement from Angelica). One of my favorite parts was golden hour pictures. I take zero credit here. This was Angelica’s idea and I am so thankful. It was a truly beautiful and authentic experience to photograph the newly wed joy I felt. This is just one of so many ways in which Angelica showed that she was as present and invested in our day as we were. After receiving my sneak preview pictures, I was honestly met with so much emotion. I was brought right back to each moment and exactly how I was feeling. I am truly blown away because if anyone can get a picture to tell a thousand words, it is Angelica. She perfectly captured our day and was the single most best decision I made that day. Unsolicited feedback from my guests: “Your photographer smiled the entire night! She looked like she was having so much fun!” This was feedback I got multiple times and it goes to show much Angelica loves her job! P.S. Jake, her second shooter, was also an absolute pleasure. Together, their energy was infectious.”

Michelle does an amazing job as your photographer the day-of but also helps guide you every step of the way during the pre-planning stages. Here's a few reasons why you HAVE to pick Michelle if you connect with her style: *She will make you feel comfortable in front of the lens. We were very unsure as to what to do during our engagement shoot and we definitely did not want our pictures to come out as very posed, stiff or fake. Michelle took care of this in an instant, we got to talk, laugh, tell dad jokes throughout the shoot and our pictures came out like US which is what we truly wanted. The same goes for the day of the wedding, with a 12 person bridal party and multiple family configurations, Michelle was able to make everyone comfortable and naturally pose for our pictures. Not to mention, she was able to organize everyone for the church exit with the rice throw in a matter of minutes! *She will listen to what you want and provide her honest feedback with her years of experience. We were very set of having an engagement shoot in Jersey City not only was it crazy to get there, we got washed out with a huge storm (none the less she got great shots in a matter of 10 minutes!). She suggested we did another try but something more local like where we lived in Morristown. Not only were we more comfortable because we knew where to go, the pictures came out again looking more genuine in our hometown. *She is incredibly professional, takes her job seriously AND has an awesome personality. We got our pictures both for the engagement and wedding within a matter of weeks with some sneak previews the very next day! No watermarks and the possibility of downloading all of them instantly. She does her job with a smile on her face that is just contagious!”

“Geoff from Hidden Gem Visuals was amazing from start to finish! I decided on a photographer for my civil wedding at the very last minute; about 1-2 days prior to the big day. He was extremely responsive and easy to talk to. To top things off, his price was very competitive as well! On the actual wedding day he arrived 15 minutes early and was ready to go. Geoff was courteous, professional, and extremely kind! He efficiently directed our group of 15 people while simultaneously capturing beautiful pictures. As a bonus, I want to commend his attention to detail as Geoff addressed some members of my family by name despite me not even formerly introducing them yet! Upon completion of group photos, my husband and I then did a private photo session. Perhaps the most impressive thing about Geoff was his ability to make our environment appear a lot more beautiful and eye-catching than it really was. For reference, we were surrounded by government buildings, court houses and municipal property. However, his attention to detail and on-the-spot creativity set the scene for something much more amazing. In fact, some of my favorite shots were taken under very simple arch ways, greenery and benches you would normally pass daily without any thought. As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. On the day of the elopement, Nina and Will met us early in the morning at our hotel, and were the perfect companions for us venturing round NYC for photos before our City Hall Ceremony.
