I'm Miranda, a Jersey City, NJ wedding photographer. I understand that being in front of a camera can be awkward, especially if you're not used to it. Instead of putting you in robot poses, I will guide you on moving naturally and provide prompts to evoke fun and romance. Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, surrounded by all your favorite people and their love as they celebrate your next chapter as a married couple. It's no surprise you want wedding photos you can look back on to feel the connection, remember the moment, and share the stories. I believe photographs are like time machines, one of life's greatest treasures.

My job is to do more than just fix your posture and take pretty pictures. I also manage a timeline, follow your unique shot list requests, and not interrupt as I capture storytelling moments on your wedding day - from exciting reactions to shared laughter, happy tears to wild dance moves, and all the little dreamy details that make your wedding special. Your love story is truly unique, and the vision you have for your experience is super personal.     From the moment I saw Suess Moments instagram page, I was drawn to the beauty of her images. Once my Husband and I met with Miranda, we knew we would be in great hands for our wedding day. Her strategic planning sessions prior to our day, helped us map out our wedding day, moment by moment and made our day go by smoothly. Her assistant Ashley’s attentiveness added to making us feel at home and in great hands, simply a great team! The photos came out unbelievably beautiful and we’re in the process of choosing the shots for our photo album and picture frame shots, so many to choose from! For any couple looking to capture the magic and beauty of your wedding day, look no further than Suess Moments as the only choice for your special day!

    We could not recommend Miranda from Suess Moments more! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We found Miranda and we had a phone call with her, we then booked our engagement shoot with her and it was magical! She was really understanding of what we wanted from our photos and was super helpful and asked us loads of questions about things we hadnt even thought of! On the wedding day, she made us feel super special, despite the fear being in front of the camera!. We were confident that the photos would turn out gorgeous! We got our sneak peek photo gallery super quick, only 3 days after our wedding!! Our whole gallery was delivered to us in less than a month! We were absolutely thrilled! We absolutely ADORE the photos and cannot recommend Miranda enough!!!

    Before my new husband and I found Suess Moments, we struggled with finding the right photographer. Everywhere we looked we found the same old shots, no personal touches, just cookie cutter photographers. After weeks of searching for a wedding photographer, we found Suess Moments on Zola and we were instantly obsessed. The photos were personal, the couples shone in a way we hadn't seen yet, what really struck us was how perfect the cheesiest photos were (The groomsmen playing Super Smash Bro's? My husband's dream!) Every couple looked special, and no two shots were uniform. Getting to know Miranda, we couldn't agree more that we loved how comfortable we were just chatting with her. She understands what its like to be human, how to work with the awkward feelings, how to bring out the best in people, which made us realize she's the one for us! We booked her for our engagement shoot a year out from our wedding, and she really is so great at her job. Our engagement photos are gorgeous, romantic, but most importantly us. We asked for a shot of us from our local bar, and she delivered, got involved and even asked some people to move around for us. It turned into our favorite photo from that day. Leading up to the wedding, Miranda was super accessible, and really took care of us. She answered all of our questions, and sent us advice and checklists that really soothed my type A habits. On the wedding day, she made us feel beautiful, special, and perfect. We are confident that the photos turned out absolutely perfect, despite the rain! Even our moms said she was so wonderful, and great at guiding us into perfect positions. We are only 2 days out from our wedding, and I know she is hard at work editing, and gathering our sneak peak photos. We cannot wait to see our full gallery. Book Suess Moments. It was the best decision we made for our wedding.

    Straight to the point: if you want literally everyone to talk about your photos and how amazing they are, BOOK HER NOW. If you need more details: I cannot say enough amazing things about Miranda (and neither can anyone who sees our photos!). Even my other vendors were crazy about her work and some wanted to hire her for themselves! Everyone who sees our pictures asks about the photographer. I don’t even know where to begin. Perhaps by stating that I looked at HUNDREDS (no, that is not an exaggeration) of photographers in the entire tristate area plus California before picking my wedding photographer. I went through tens of thousands of photos and didn’t stop until I found perfection. Miranda is that perfection. I am the most type A person many of my vendors have ever worked with so trust me when I say she is the best! Whether you’ve never been in front of the camera before (us) or if you’re a frequent subject of the lens, she will capture you in the most spectacularly flattering, natural, and beautiful way. She gave us prompts that made us look super natural, not staged, and totally at ease and comfortable. The result? Photography that you can literally FEEL the emotion of. Which was so important to me. She is a master of truly candid photography as well as staged candids that look completely natural. Miranda can capture any style of photography you want from fine art, to lots of light, to dark and moody and all look flawless. There’s no style she does better than another, she is equally amazing at all of them. Just tell her what you like, show her some inspiration pictures of the types of photography you admire, and she will deliver more stunning photos than you could have dreamed. You may THINK you want that super cute photo you saw on Pinterest, and she will do it for you, BUT let her have creative freedom and she will deliver photos from that piece of inspiration that are beautiful beyond what you could have possibly imagined. As a type-A person, I have a hard time giving up control to anyone. After seeing her sneak peeks from the first shoot we did with miranda, I was confident that I could let go of the reins and let her do her thing. She heard and listened to everything I wanted and put her own creativity on it to make it absolute magic. Aside from her photography skills, Miranda is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She exudes positive energy and you just can’t help but want to be around her. She is so easy going and wonderful to work with, and was there for me throughout the entire year and a half wedding process. I frequently texted her for advice on colors, staging, and other random wedding things and she was more than happy to offer her opinions and help me out! I felt soooo supported by her as a vendor AND person. I cannot wait to hire her again for everything in my life worth capturing from here on out. My other piece of advice is to do an engagement shoot. REALLY PLEASE DO IT. There is no replacement for getting that one on one time with your photographer to get a feel for working together and building the relationship. I promise you it will make your wedding day that much more successful from a photography perspective.
