Black-owned open floor studio with large windows and original exposed brick. The large windows allow a hefty amount of natural sunlight to fill the room. Good for photo shoots, exercise classes, small banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, launch parties, and meeting space. There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading. River Bell Farm is a quaint farmhouse and barn venue located in Jefferson, Oregon. The farm was established in 1875 by the Weddle family. The landscaping around the barn and the house provide beautiful backdrops for photos, all the while showing off the surrounding farm country and foothills.

Built in 1852, the house sits on just under three acres and is surrounded by gardens and farm lands. Our gardens consist of heritage roses, perennial beds, and a large lawn with mature trees. Also included in the village is the Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin, an 1850’s one room schoolhouse and the historic Butteville Jail. The grounds of the complex make a charming backdrop for weddings providing a wonderful step back in time.

We bought our farm in 2014 with the intention of bettering the lives of others. Lion's Heart Farm is known as a serene retreat my many. The site of Risley Landing Gardens was held by the Risley family for over 100 years. In 1983, it was donated to the Oak Grove Garden Club by Hugh G. Starkweather (the grandson of Jacob S. Risley) and William Starkweather. William was the son of Harvey Starkweather, a prominent legislator and educator. Mr. Starkweather wanted the site to be a memorial park in honor of his mother and sisters. A bronze plaque dedicated to them is implanted on the wall of the Landing.
