Portland Center Stage is housed in The Armory, a gorgeous, renovated community space in Portland’s lovely Pearl District. The two-tiered lobby spaces dramatically merge Portland history and culture with state-of-the-art sustainable architecture. Featuring beautiful brick walls, dramatically arched ceilings and warm lighting, our open and airy space feels cozy and elegant.

The two-tiered lobby spaces can host up to 200 guests for a seated ceremony and dinner, up to 250 for a seated reception only, and up to 450 for a standing reception only. The space features a gorgeous bar, grand staircase, soaring ceilings, plus basic AV and multiple projection options.

Rental includes Armory stock lounge furniture, Armory stock banquet furniture, 60-inch round tables (up to 15), 6-foot and 8-foot banquet tables (up to 10 per), 48-inch round tables (up to 6); 72-inch rounds tables (up to 4); stock folding chairs (145), use of Gallery Lobby Level, Mezzanine wall space for hanging media, Portable Audio system if requested (8-channel board, 2 speakers, 1 wireless mic), and stock Armory black Pipe and Drape for box office.

We were nothing short of satisfied with our entire experience getting married at PCS. The venue itself is stunning, and the 2 floors allow for natural transitions between ceremony, dinner, and dancing. Venue coordinators were responsive and incredibly helpful with all our prep needs pre-wedding and the day of. I highly recommend the venue!

Portland Center Stage is a place not to be overlooked. The staff went above and beyond and were incredibly helpful through the entire experience. They made recommendations and let me customize to my hearts content! They were clear regarding what we would receive and were the most helpful in making sure I’d be able to do what I wanted for my day! I live hours away from the venue, so communication was important for me and they delivered! The amount of money I spent was very reasonable, I definitely feel like I got the most bang for my buck! I could not give higher praise to any venue more than I would them. I recommend booking here every time. 10/10!

Submit a Rental Request Form. The Rentals team will respond with availability and set up a personal site tour of the venue. Once you have toured the building, you can place a hold on your date and the Armory Rentals team will provide you with a cost estimate. From June through September, The Armory hosts regular performances as a part of our production season. Performances run from Wednesday-Sunday in the evening, with additional matinees on Thursdays and over certain weekend dates. Monday and Tuesday are dark days for the theater with no performances for the day.

Absolutely! We simply ask that all alcohol be served by an OLCC licensed server provided by your caterer. Please contact your catering event manager for details on corkage or tap fees.

No, but there is plenty of parking near The Armory. On-street parking is free after 7 p.m. throughout the week. The Brewery Blocks Underground Parking Garage is the largest lot in Portland and it is located one block from The Armory. It’s a well-lit, security-patrolled underground garage that houses 1,300 parking spaces.
