We are located 80 miles North of NYC and sit on 11 acres of land just outside the Hamlet of Dover Plains. We are close to country settings with rural surroundings and country charm. With neighboring local wineries and hiking trails, it is the ideal venue for any event. It is especially great for wedding couples looking to explore the area with their guests for an extraordinary weekend getaway. Old Drovers Inn weddings at the Preston Barn can also host your pre-wedding and post-wedding events such as rehearsal dinner, after-party, and send-off brunch. Clients booking weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations have a choice of the Veranda with views of the gardens, Banquet Room with its own glimmering fire or, weather permitting, the gardens with a white party tent if needed. The menu varies from Italian to French to American, all done with a Scandinavian touch. Mikael and Alicia will meet with you to discuss the logistics and "tailor-make" a menu to suit your taste.

Here at Mill Creek Caterers we are a private venue. Therefore, you will not share the venue with other weddings or events during your own wedding. Also, depending on the size of your wedding you can have access to the two ballrooms we have here. Along with privacy, we have a beautiful on-site garden where we hold the ceremonies and an outside patio with a fire place. We offer a bridal suite for your wedding day so that the bride is able to touch up during the day. We are located right next to an Inn if guests need rooms close by.
