Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m as obsessed with taking gorgeous, dripping-in-light photos that you’ll look back on for ages as much as the next photographer. But what I really love? Meeting the most kind-hearted people and getting to know them on a level much deeper than the typical client-photographer relationship.

I started photographing weddings 9 years ago and was influenced by the two great passions in my life at the time: landscape photography and teaching. My love for both deeply influence my wedding photography because I find inspiration in both the natural setting of a wedding as well as special moments between people. When I document weddings I am in all places at once, constantly searching for great light to highlight beautiful settings as well as the heartfelt, emotional moments...your wedding day deserves to be documented in all its glory and beauty. I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light.
