I began shooting weddings in 2011 and have shot over 300 weddings from coast to coast, north and south, and in Europe. I was born on a dirt road in Texas but raised in New York. The Hudson Valley has been my home for over 30 years. I have a passion for riding my motorcycle Betty, travel, hiking, my 2 huskies, my rescue cats, and my 100+ thriving houseplants. I have a bachelors degree in Fine Art Photography and a minor in Art History. My approach to photography is deeply rooted in my love an appreciation for art and the human form. As someone who loves love, I know how special your day is. My goal is to capture that magic.

I hold a special place in my heart for intimate weddings, destination weddings, elopements, and anything in nature. I believe in the happy coexistence between posed and candid photography, and live for them both. I thrive off of positive energy and always promise to bring my own. For each couple I work with, I create a detailed and extensive timeline, posed list, and photo itinerary to ensure a smooth, relaxing, organized, and absolutely magical day.     My husband and I could not be happier with our choice to have Caitlinn as our wedding photographer. She is unbelievably talented and has an incredible ability to capture the emotions of each moment. Caitlinn pays close attention to the small details, from the way we held hands to the expressions on our guests' faces, bringing every precious memory to life in her photos. I first met Caitlinn when she was the photographer for my best friend's wedding, which happened to be on one of the coldest days of the year. I’ll never forget Caitlinn’s energy and enthusiasm—despite the chill, she was a warm and positive presence, making everyone feel comfortable and excited. After that, I knew she would be the perfect choice for our wedding as well. We booked Caitlinn for our engagement photos, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about how stunning the photos were! She even joined us on a cold winter hike, creating such a relaxed and fun atmosphere that I told my husband afterward, “I want to be friends with her.” That’s how wonderful she is! On our wedding day, Caitlinn made me feel absolutely incredible. She was professional, timely, and brought a sense of calm and joy that made the day even more special. Caitlinn is so efficient that we received our sneak peek photos the very next day, and they were breathtaking! Despite shooting two weddings after ours, she had all our photos to us within three weeks—unbelievable! I cannot recommend Caitlinn highly enough. Not only is she incredibly talented and attentive to every detail, but she is also the kind of person you want to have around on your special day. Her warmth and positivity light up the room, and we are beyond grateful to have had her as our photographer.

    Working with Caitlinn for our wedding was an AMAZING experience. We couldn’t be happier with our photos! I told her from the get go that my fiancé (now husband!) and I never take good photos, but she assured me that our photos would look natural and not overly posed, which is what we wanted. Caitlinn responded promptly to every email and worked with us to create an efficient timeline for our very large family and bridal party. We had four small children in our bridal party and Caitlinn handled them like an expert and got some amazing shots of all of them! She is incredibly organized and best of all, we received a “sneak preview” of our photo gallery one or two days after the wedding, and the entire photo gallery within a week of the wedding! And the pictures, OMG are they beautiful. The hardest part is choosing which photos to put in our album - they are all that good! (But we get to keep the full digital photo gallery which is being displayed on a digital frame). I particularly appreciated how “unobtrusive” her style is - especially during the very emotional moments like our first look - we didn’t “feel” like we were being photographed so we were able to enjoy the moment and act naturally. She captured all of the big moments and the small details too and her artistic eye created beautiful shots of everything from getting ready all the way to the cake cutting and everything in between. Caitlinn is also an incredibly lovely person - her energy carries through in everything she does, and we felt so comfortable from her right from the get go. Truly I can’t say enough about this wonderful photographer and person - she created beautiful memories for us that we will cherish forever.

    Caitlinn and Laurel are the absolute best!! Caitlinn photographed my two sisters' weddings, so it was an easy choice when I needed to select a photographer for mine as she is wonderful to work with. They did a beautiful job on both our engagement shoot and wedding. Caitlinn and Laurel are energetic, creative, fun, and made us extremely comfortable throughout all the photos. And everything comes out absolutely stunning. The quality, lighting, and look of their photos is the absolute best. We feel so grateful to have all of our amazing wedding memories captured by Caitlinn and Laurel.

    I've had the pleasure of knowing Caitlinn earlier in her photography journey and I must say that following her career 9 years later her photos are still full of love, emotion, high energy and precise detail. So much so I wish I could re-live my wedding day so she could shoot it once more. Her professionalism and kindness made the process go smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. Caitlinn captures everything you request, while also seeing things that you may not see yourself and just goes for it. Some of my favorite photos were candids of the entire day, she blends in so well with the crowd that most guests didn't even know she was taking photos until edits were done, she's so covert and quick like a ninja. Artistically speaking, Caitlinn approaches your day with intention, she wants to bring your day to life in a cohesive set of images. She does not disappoint.
