RSVP is a dream come true for owner, Nellie Mun, who has always loved hosting gatherings. Her home is always open to family, friends and dinners with clients for her wedding coordinating company, Pleasant Surprise Events. Owning a venue is just an extension of what she already loves doing. In May of 2014, she and her husband rented this cute space to host a graduation party for their son and his friends. She walked into the same space in January of 2017 and struck up a conversation with the store owner who revealed that she would be moving. The seed that was planted then has sprouted into the venue it is today. This little space is the perfect spot for your private event. Being a part of the amazing Downtown Fullerton community and supporting fellow small businesses is a gift and a privilege for Nellie. Truly had our dream wedding at Solitude! The venue is absolutely outstanding! Very clean and all the natural lighting is something you don’t always see at a wedding. The areas on the golf course for photos are beautiful. They offer everything needed in one location: ceremony, reception, shuttle bus if needed, photos on site, even a house on site to rent the day before! My guests are still raving that this was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The staff was always a pleasure to work with through every step of the process and were all phenomenal the day of the wedding. Everything ran so smooth! They put together my exact vision, it was truly everything I ever wanted. Jenn was wonderful to work with! She’s an awesome person, very helpful and accommodating. All of my vendors were preferred by Jenn. I cannot say enough positive things about how awesome they all were and how well they all worked together. The coordinating and timeline of the day ran without a single hiccup or any worry on us. I recommend this venue a thousand times over!

My husband and I did an elopement but still wanted to have a big reception to celebrate; not many venues were willing or able to accommodate our non-traditional wishes however this did not stop the staff at the Roostertail. Their team worked with us, at all hours of the day, to put together the “happily ever after party” we dreamed of having. The view in and of itself is jaw dropping and the photos can’t even do it justice, you have to see in person to truly appreciate the beauty of the detroit skyline, waterfront, boats, etc. Nearly every guest came up to my husband and I and said that this was the most stunning reception venue they have ever been to. Even our DJ and one of my close friends told me they were going to look into the Roostertail for their future weddings! Aside from the Roostertail’s flexibility and stunning views their staff truly showed each of my guest such hospitality—even the owner stopped by for a while to chat with us and our guest! Special shout-out to Shawna, Martin, and Nicole for everything you guys did for my group that night!

I had my wedding at The Rust Belt in December 2023 and I have nothing but amazing things to say. First of all Julie is the best! She is quick to respond to emails and was so accommodating and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The wedding itself was amazing from the cocktail hour to the ceremony to the reception! The bar staff was great and the venue looked incredible. I would recommend The Rust Belt over and over again and I hope to attend a wedding here in the future so I can be a guest.

It was amazing to see my favorite music venue transformed for our wedding, we loved everything about it. Working with event coordinator Mellisa was a great experience, she was so helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole process. We had rave reviews on the food from our guests, especially the elephant ears for dessert. The chef even made separate dishes for myself and a bridesmaid who are vegetarians. The bar service was also awesome and super friendly. Our guests were very pleased with the variety. The overall flow of the wedding went great, and the team made sure everyone was in their places when needed. We also got to take some pretty awesome photos throughout the venue complex, including the Garden Bowl. The band we hired sounded and looked great with the house lights and sound. I cannot say enough good things, I would do it all over again! It was everything I could have wanted and more. Thank you soooooo much, Majestic Team!!!

We had the most perfect day and the venue was gorgeous. But there were a few hiccups. Be mindful that in the pictures you see there is up-lighting and chairs from an outside company. I did bring both of these things in. The guest rooms are beautiful and the staff at the hotel is very accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. As far as planning goes. If you are not organized, I would recommend a wedding planner. The coordinator is a nice woman but communication is lacking. I was suppose to have a conference room set up the morning of the wedding and no one at the hotel new what was going on, so we were calling staff and the coordinator at 7 am in the morning for the hair and makeup arrival. Make sure you have a list of all the things you want to see if they are available to you. I've never planned a large party so I didn't know what I didn't know until it was too late. I did not experience, but some of my guests waited over 45 minutes for valet and were told they could wait, drive around or park themselves "it wasn't the valet problem." They did not want to miss the ceremony so were forced to park at a higher cost in an off lot. ((I found this embarrassing to myself and the venue because I only told guests to valet)). The coordinator spoke to the Valet manager and I felt the response was very cold. This is a costly venue and the guests should be treated with more respect. I did also sign a contract for my Marriot Bonvoy numbers and the points are suppose to accumulate 10 days after your event, I have not received anything and had to reach out to the billing department for a final bill. These issues are minor compared to the fun we had, amazing food and great day overall. Just be on top of your game when you are planning.

She worked tirelessly: she gave us her cell phone number, was always available even on her days off, was present and available at the reception, as well as the Sunday brunch. to make sure the event went smoothly and as planned. We are very happy and pleased with The Townsend and Ashley Willis. Recommended!

The venue coordinators were extremely helpful, timely in their responses, and really listened to what we wanted for our big day. The quality and value were amazing - the space was clean and very well organized for our wedding events. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors to flip the room three times from cocktail hour, to dinner, to late night dancing and games. The coordinators helped us create floorplans and made modifications when needed. All of our guests loved the space and different things we were able to do with it. They also had a bunch of great places on the grounds to take photos - I loved that I didn’t have to find park to get outside photos. I would highly recommend 2Gather Elegant Event Venue to any engaged couple looking for an stress-free wedding venue that delivers excellent service and a fun, memorable event!

I could not say enough good things about the community house. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Tim and Kassie went above and beyond to ensure that was the case. We had such an easy time planning primarily because we didn’t have to have to search for a ton of vendors. The community house had all the big things included. The food was delicious as was our cake (both thanks to the community house). Everyone agreed the venue was beautiful and the food was delicious!
