Awarded Best of Zola
I was on the fence about getting a videographer due to budgetary reasons and not knowing if I would really treasure it compared to photos. After several discussions with my family, I decided to book a videographer and found Alenka Films. I have to say, hiring Alenka Films to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! She went above and beyond to capture our day. From the pre-wedding discussions and check-ins, to the day-of logistics and everything after the day, Alena has been so responsive and communicative - I never had any worries about her ability to follow through and provide the best videos possible. She captured all of the most important parts of our day and even stayed a little late to get some amazing shots of our guests dancing. Since the wedding day, the videos were provided well within the given timeframes and are all so beautiful. Everyone I have shown the videos compliments them so much. I am so glad we hired Alena to film our day and that we have a beautiful video to look back on for years to come!

550Park Luxury Wedding Films

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $3,250
  • Serves Patchogue, NY

Brent is considered one of the top wedding cinematographers based out of the Northeastern USA. He frequently travels the globe, documenting weddings for couples who deserve the best of the best. After growing up in Central Jersey, Brent chose to move down to Nashville for college and then shortly after graduation, officially founded 550Park out of New York City. He is a passionate tennis player, chef, and world adventurer.

Awarded Best of Zola
I made the best decision on behalf of my clients by hiring 550Park as their wedding filmmaker. I was planning the wedding for my clients in New York City and Brent of 550Park was extremely very courteous, attentive, and professional towards myself and the bride. As a wedding planner, I have a longer list of videographers I wouldn't recommend than ones I would use again. However, I would and I will book Brent with 550Park again anytime! I always tell my brides that besides their wedding planner and photographer, their videographer will be the one in their face all day long. Hence, it matters how they make you feel and communicate with you. Brent made my clients feel comfortable and happy throughout the day. He was able to capture beautiful moments of my clients who are usually not comfortable in front of the camera, and made them feel so comfortable and 'confident in their skin'. 550Park truly did an amazing job!

And we blend in during your reception, discreetly capturing the pure, unscripted joy of your guests.

Awarded Best of Zola
We did a lot of research looking into different vendors to use for our various wedding needs. After locking down our photographer, I realized I wanted something a little less "typical" and something more "creative" for my video memories. I think that Andrew and his team hit a very happy middle-ground of artistic quality over corporate event-video, and the very expensive arthouse productions I got quotes from. Firstly, they arrived on early, which is on time, and wasted no time getting started. There was no downtime, and every minute they were on site was working to get us the best footage, shots, and coverage of our wedding. Beyond that, they got creative shots, angles, and used a different cameras from different perspectives. They were able to figure out how to get clean audio of the important speeches and readings. And to put it all together, they created an amazing 6 minute video of our event that we've been able to share with everyone. The editing is anything but standard faire, and shows an artistic care to our specific event, the words said, and how they juxtapose over the events details. Oh and while I thought the Drone shots were not necessary, I'm so happy they got them- they looked AWESOME. Some more technical things we loved about Instillwonder is that when I asked what equipment they used to shoot on, they actually answered me. The fact that they were shooting with mirrorless cameras, not typical DSLRs, and used gimbals for motion/stability put me at ease knowing that the footage wouldn't be static and would feel more alive. They also were the only company that would give me a discount (not charge extra) to be given my raw footage. This helped our budget greatly, and now (as a former video editor) I'm able to play with all the footage and have it saved forever. Overall, they were communicative, friendly, and attentive to my events needs. I can't recommend their work more, and am excited to see them give other couples the same wonderful experience we received.

Margo Sees Stars

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $4,900
  • Serves Patchogue, NY

Hi! I’m Julia, middle name Margo, a film school dropout and music buff who wants to make your wedding look like art. I'm here to represent diversity in the couples I work with and weddings I shoot (love is love), to give you something hyper-shareable that will instantly transport you in space and time for the rest of your lives, and to make you cry upon watching. The crying is very important. Bear with me on this analogy, but basically I like my wedding films like I like my salads: raw, organic, a little bit of quirk and flare, and consumed alongside great music. If this sound pretty good to you, have a look at my work and get in touch!

Awarded Best of Zola
If you want your wedding day to be captured like an art piece, like an actual movie or magical music video, hire Julia. I cannot recommend Margo Sees Stars enough! I knew I wanted a video of our big day because A) my memory (for the little details) sucks and B) I knew seeing the movement and all the sweet in-between moments in live footage would be so much more meaningful to me than just still photography. But I also am not drawn to super traditional sappy wedding video treatments. Julia took it to another level. I don't remember how I found her but she was the first vendor I booked and it was an A move and worth absolutely every penny. I fell in love with her Wes Anderson style, her eye for minimalism and fun candid moments, her editing and music choices. I felt such joy watching her videos of other peoples weddings, I couldn't imagine how good I would feel watching my own in her beautifully unique film style. Cut to my wedding day, not that this is totally mandatory but she was a complete fly on the wall. Obviously I was a bit preoccupied but I barely remember seeing her there, to the point that later on I was worried she may not have captured enough of the day because WHERE WAS SHE?! But she caught EVERY moment. Moments I was too anxious to pay attention to, or wasn't present for, or was having too much fun to remember. But I'm SO happy to be able to see them in the final video. It was 100x more than I dreamed of. Myself, my husband, our families, we all wept watching it. The music was so perfectly edited to the shots. Honestly I was anxious to pick a song without seeing the footage so I just gave her a few songs and bands I liked and the general vibe I wanted, and she completely NAILED it. She was also hugely accommodating to my editing process (I'm also a creative so I was a bit nit picky), and super communicative along the way when needed. But there was barely any need for it. You just let her do her thing and she makes absolute artistic magic. Not to mention she sends you the raw footage in an adorable package filled with Hershey's kisses and a camera-shaped USB key. I loved my wedding day but the moments are so fleeting, it goes by so quickly and then its gone forever, and it's lovely to have photographs of the day, but I'm telling you, having such a uniquely beautiful video art piece to watch when you want to smile really hits different. GO HIRE MARGO SEES STARS!

Films by Nadia

  • Starts at $1,600
  • Serves Patchogue, NY

Born and raised in Ecuador, Nadia Belen moved to New Jersey at age 8 where she was raised in a cultural melting pot within close proximity to New York City. Straight out of college, she became part of a wedding collective in the New York metropolitan area as a videographer in 2019. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Nadia continues to focus on capturing raw and organic moments in everyday life through street photography, music videos, and of course wedding films.

Nadia captured our wedding day with the exact energy I was looking for! She took the important details that I was interested in (candid family-oriented shots) and blended them into a 10 min TREASURE that I will never stop watching. Her smile is contagious and her communication following our wedding was impeccable. So grateful for this forever memory of our day!

We had an absolutely seamless experience with our wedding videographer from start to finish. The entire process was easy, and on the big day, they were so discreet we hardly noticed them—yet the amount of stunning content they captured was truly remarkable. The videos they produced allow us to relive our wedding day again and again, and each time it brings back the same emotions. Choosing them was the best decision we made, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and talented videographer!

Logan was our DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was so professional and organized. He made sure to give our wedding party and us clear direction and what to expect to keep to our timeline and have a great experience. He always had a smile and interacted with us and guests. He makes sure to go over many details to understand the vibe of the wedding and guests and works closely with the bride and groom to figure out what genres and types of songs to play at the wedding. We are a full service, NYC-based production company specializing in cinematic wedding documentaries. Our husband and wife filmmaking team work with you to capture the essence of your magical day on film, however you envision it.

We loved how til death picture captured our most special day and the important moments. It felt authentic and intuitive. We personally do not like the over the top movie like editing style that’s commonplace these days. I want to watch our videos and feel like it really was US and not a different couple pretending to be us. Lol I felt that til death picture captured that need perfectly and understood our goal as a couple. The end product turned out exactly the way we wanted and we could not be happier!!!! Amazing team to work with and amazing execution of artistry!!

My name is Ben. I am a LA-based Wedding Filmmaker who runs on emotion-driven films that tell the story of you as a couple. The wedding day for sure! - But lets be honest, the wedding day is only whatit is because of who you are together before and after the day is done. Let's get some of that. That's the stuff that lasts longer than a few years after your wedding. The stuff your kids will pull out and watch.

You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll find yourself saying things like "Dang, we look so good!" - because you'll feel like movie stars.
