“We liked Edward Zaruba a lot initially because when we talked, he was concise and seemed fun as opposed to some of the other DJs we spoke to. Picking a DJ was hard because unlike a photographer where you can look through their work, you generally go off of price and vibes because you can’t sit through an entire set as your wedding set list is based off yourself. Edward didn’t talk too much and to be transparent, we didn’t want a DJ that would talk more than they played music, so that paired with his price point made him a good fit for us. We had a good experience with him on our wedding day. His system for the outside was simple but worked the way we needed it to. He hid everything behind some of the greenery so that none of the guests could see it and it would not be in view for the pictures. Even though the weather was windy that day, the microphones picked up well on the all of the sound. He set the groom and officiant up with wireless microphones that were nicely hidden. His speaker was loud and clear for everyone to hear. His system for the inside was also great for the space and the included dance lighting added a nice vibe for the night and turned out nice in our photos. Our only (half) complaint was we gave him a must, MUST playlist (about 6 songs), and only a few of them played. We think this can be attributed more so to lack of time to play all the songs we love and of course know even if we could have spent an additional hour dancing, there probably would have been songs we missed. Outside of that, he picked phenomenal music, and he knew how to transition from one song to the next to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun. We appreciated his ability to introduce our party and us. He spoke the perfect amount and did great with the nights transitions.”

He was super understanding of our music indecisiveness and some last minute adjustments. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Jordan was amazing during the entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! Music is a key factor in my relationship and it was super important to my now husband and I that we work with a DJ who understood our eclectic taste and wasn't just a "regular" wedding DJ/musician. From the very beginning, Anders was an absolute pleasure to work with, was very clear and prompt with communication, and had a great questionnaire that covered everything needed for the music for our wedding day. I had sent Anders a playlist for inspiration since our taste in music is all over the place and he said he had it handled, and boy did he. My requests for the ceremony were perfectly executed, our cocktail hour music was beyond even what I expected (including some songs that are tricky to play) including a quick reset due to unexpected rain, and our dinner/dancing DJ'ed songs were wildly fun. We received so many compliments on the music (including gasps, thumbs up, and nods throughout) and it is completely due to Ander's style and professionalism. We hope he had as much fun as we did! “Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”

“Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. “What an incredible band! The dance floor was packed all night! At one point during our daughters outdoor wedding, the power needed to be shut down due to lightning. CCO didn't let that stop them as the horn section continued to play and kept the party going. All night long, our guests started every conversation with, "where did you find this band?"
