32 West Eighth is housed in one of the most architecturally distinguished buildings in Erie. Original woodwork, plaster-relief ceilings, and marble-blocked corridors provide a truly unique venue for your special day. The Grand Ballroom opens up to two-story tall columns which draw your eye to the festive plaster relief ceiling. Front is the stage where you can dine with a view of the festivities. The Ballroom's floor is a suspended hardwood that allows you to dance the night away! While larger than the Grand Ballroom, Arcadia gives a more intimate feel with a lower ceiling and stone columns with flickering "candles". The Peacock Fountain and Fireplace add a quaint, old-world charm to the space and is perfect for themed events. 1020 Collective is a multi-faceted art and event space located in downtown Erie, PA. We aim to elevate our community through exhibiting their works, their words, and offering space to express themselves. We hope to build on Erie’s rich community and history, while maintaining our mission of supporting living artists and creatives. We have two rental spaces, our upstairs gallery for more intimate settings like showers and smaller weddings and the downstairs event space for larger gatherings like receptions and elaborate ceremonies.

Daytime Ceremony Only: We offer a ceremony only option at our Butterfly Garden or Rhododendron Garden. An outdoor ceremony only can be scheduled at 10:30am, 1 pm, or 4 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or at 1pm on Sunday. Ceremony only rental includes a two hour rental, an indoor rain location, 45 minute rehearsal, ceremony chairs, time for photos on the grounds, guest parking and admission- as well as staff to assist in the coordination of the ceremony. Evening Reception and Ceremony: Receptions at the Holden Arboretum are held after the arboretum closes to the public and can start as early as 6pm and end as late as 11:00 pm.
