About this venue
This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. If you can dream it, it can be done at Olio. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Olio in Peabody! Sarah, the venue owner and owner of Without a Hitch, was great — responsive, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail of our day was perfect. The venue itself was beautiful and modern, featuring historic hardwood floors and tall windows that added character and warmth to the space. The high ceilings and acoustics made our band sound SO good - everyone was dancing all night! The string lighting and complimentary up-lighting created a festive holiday vibe that our guests loved. A La Carte Catering and Premier Bar Service did an amazing job, providing signature drinks, tasty passed appetizers, and food stations in a way that encouraged mingling. It was truly the perfect day in every way!

Sarah and her team are wonderful! My wife and I had our elopement ceremony here as they were offering free services to LGBTQ couples. It was so heartwarming knowing that the Olio team was able to provide these opportunities to us and so many couples at this time. Becca was onsite the day of our ceremony and was so kind and helpful. Her calm demeanor and joyful energy didn’t go unnoticed to us! The physical space of Olio speaks for itself- elegant, stunning and unique! But, the people making it happen made all the difference to us. We cannot recommend Olio enough!

When we set out to find our dream venue, we had a mission to find a unique charming place that would accommodate 250 guests and allow us the flexibility to create the wedding that I dreamed of. OLIO did not disappoint, it was above and beyond what I could ever imagine my wedding could be. Every guest remarked on how stunning the venue was, and we felt so lucky to have chosen such a unique beautiful place to say "I do." I can’t believe we pulled off the event with 250 people, it was ALOT! I am so glad I was able to get it down, while the amount felt overwhelming at times, we all fit perfectly and helped to force people to get to know each other. Along with a beautiful space, we were also able to choose our vendors! This was huge for two teachers on a tight budget. We were able to have more control over the type of food that we wanted and were able to create the perfect ceremony and reception that merged our cultures. Many people could not stop talking about the merge of Jewish traditions and Haitian culture that was able to shine through with a unique venue. People could not stop talking about how they got to try Haitian food for the first time all due to the flexibility that this venue allows. From the very beginning, OLIO’s owner, Sarah Narcus, was nothing short of amazing! Her willing to be able to accommodate, and very quick to response to every email helped smooth over any wedding anxiety. She was so great that we made the quick decision to hire her wedding planning company WITHOUT A HITCH for our day coordinator. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND OLIO AND WITHOUT A HITCH ENOUGH! We’ll forever cherish the memories of our wedding, and we’re so grateful to have had the chance to celebrate at such an exceptional location.
