Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.

With multiple unique ceremony sites, lots of outdoor space and a gorgeous loft, Rivercrest offers the space stretch out and relax - enjoy cocktails and dancing on the courtyard and have games and couches on the back side for a relaxing evening. We offer on-site accommodations for up to 24 guests, and exclusive, multi-day access to the barn for decorating, rehearsals, and even rehearsal dinners. The Home and Farm have been passed down through 8 generations of the Miller family. In 1827, John Miller Sr. purchased the land from Francis Thornton and built a modest family home with his son, “Poplar John”. The simple rectangular structure was built from bricks fired on the bank of the Thornton River and trees harvested from nearby Turkey Mountain. Sixty years later, John Byron made substantial additions including the present-day Owner’s Suite, Queen’s Room, and sitting porches.
