Hello there! ! I’m Jen Lee, a wedding photographer in Seattle for over 8 years, I consider it an honor and privilege to be entrusted with documenting the most significant chapters in a couple's life. In my early years as a Creative Portrait Director shooting professional models and full editorials, I immersed myself in the world of visual storytelling. Creating these captivating narratives allowed me to move into the real world of weddings. With an innate sense of empathy and a meticulous attention to detail, I strive to create an atmosphere of ease and comfort with my professional knowledge in lighting, posing, and story telling.

The most consistent feedback I get from my couples is that I put them at ease. Almost everyone is uncomfortable in front of the camera, but that’s why I’m there — to help you look and feel great creating memories. Your wedding photographer is in your personal space on one of the most emotional days of your life - make sure the person in your corner is someone who adds to the joy on your day. With me, you get someone who can go with the flow, has your back, and seamlessly adapts to the energy in the room.

Working with Jen was one of the best decisions we made for our city hall elopement! She was absolutely incredible throughout the process. Jen was very communicative, easy-going, and kind. On our wedding day, she was well-prepared and immediately put us at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. We are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Jen helped guide and pose us in a way that felt comfortable and effortless. We especially love the candid and real moments she captures. Out photos are truly everything we hoped for and more - stunning and timeless!

Hiya, I’m Alison! I’m a wedding photographer who aims to create legacy’s that combine the natural beauty of the scenery, the true and unique beauty of relationships and aid my couples by giving direction that brings out natural moments. I also aim to edit my photos in way that keeps the natural beauty and makes them timeless and not part of a trendy fad edit. I’ve been shooting weddings since 2013 and have been part of celebrations in 6 states and have seen it all!

We chose Alison to shoot our engagement, wedding and family photo's. We love all our photo's. It rained during our engagement session and she was willing to travel with us and go with the flow for our shoot, we didn't end up getting all that we needed because of the delay and she was more than willing to schedule another day to get the rest of our photos! She was so patient and worked so well with our son during our family photo's and our wedding photo's. Everyone at our wedding complimented how professional and sweet she was. I had multiple people ask for her info and book sessions with her afterwards!

Hi! My name is Valerie! I am a hopeless romantic who wants to be behind the lens of your love story. I fell in love with photography in my high school darkroom. I went on to major in media and communication at University of Washington with a focus on visual arts. I have always been a story teller, a big feeler and obsessed with all things love, so photographing weddings is quite literally living my dream. I have photographed over 130 weddings and have the same passion for them as when I first started. I cannot see myself doing anything else.

Awarded Best of Zola
Valerie is a great photographer! She went above and beyond in terms of communication, answering numerous questions over email and even a phone call check-in coming up on the wedding. We had an outdoor wedding and it ended up raining during the ceremony but we still got so many beautiful outdoor shots, even with the rain. We got so many compliments from the wedding party and guests about how nice, welcoming and warm both Valerie and her second shooter were during the wedding. We also had a huge list of family photo combos and Valerie was able to get to every single combination we wanted. We would recommend hiring Valerie for all your wedding photography needs!!

Lucia Giuseppina Photography

5.0

  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Monroe, WA

My style is rooted in a editorial and documentary approach, allowing me to narrate your unique love story through timeless images that capture genuine emotions. I prioritize unscripted moments, such as the reaction of your spouse as you walk up the aisle, the inside joke that makes you break out in laughter or the tears as your loved ones share thoughtful memories during toasts. These intimate details hold immense significance to me. As your photographer, I bring a heartfelt and genuine perspective, ensuring that your wedding day is portrayed in a way that truly reflects you and preserves the memories you'll cherish forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
My fiancé and I loved working with Lucia! She did an engagement photo session with us, and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. She set up a video call to get to know us, get a sense for who we were and what we were looking for, and then was super helpful and communicative when picking a location for the shoot. She was able to share sites she had used before with photos from those locations, and she shared input from other photographers on locations we thought of that she hadn't used before. When we started looking for a photographer we were apprehensive about the whole thing because we're both by nature pretty awkward in front of a camera, but she made us super comfortable and you can tell how relaxed we were when looking at the photos. We genuinely had family members say "now that's what I think of when I picture you two" when they saw our photos. She even asked for some of our favorite music and had it playing when we started, which was super thoughtful! For the shoot itself, she gave us plenty of direction but was also really collaborative and open to any of our ideas for poses or shots or areas of the location to use. We were worried on the way to the shoot because it was rainy when we first showed up at the park, but right away she had ideas for how to still find usable areas and took some great shots, and even had some clear umbrellas that made for a cute look. When the rain let up, we were able to get some wide shots that really took advantage of the location and she did a fantastic job of editing out the groups of oblivious sightseers that walked into frame. The photos definitely capture us as a couple and showcased the location we chose. After the session we got our preview gallery back in record time. She told us she was going out of town on a family trip a few days after our shoot but she'd get our preview turned around before she left so that we didn't have to wait, and she totally delivered (and probably 3x the amount she promised, so she even overdelivered). We got the full gallery back exactly when she said, and they all look amazing; we loved the experience and the photos we get to share with family and friends.

My business was founded on a profound passion for capturing life's most cherished moments, my photography business thrives on blending the timeless allure of film photography with the dynamic needs of modern clients. My husband plays an integral role in this creative journey, offering invaluable support and inspiration, and he is my biggest advocate pushing me to pursue every next adventure to further my dream career. Together, we weave a visual narrative that celebrates each unique love story, turning fleeting moments into enduring memories.

Svanna Andrada Photography was absolutely on point in their communication and the quality of their work was amazing, beautiful, and outstanding. They were so amazing, making sure to keep us on track all day (even though that wasn't their job) and they went above and beyond getting pictures of everything and everyone we asked of. She even helped me take my shoes off when my feet were hurting too bad - they were hands down the best photographers we could have asked for. They were absolutely amazing, sweet, so professional, had amazing photo ideas, and got all of our photos to us plus more on time. They even sent us a beautiful momentous box with all of our pictures printed, a beautiful USB drive with all our photos, a discount on another shoot, and a few other things. I can't stress enough how grateful we are for them and how much they will completely blow you away. I can promise you won't regret hiring them for any of your photography needs.

Hi! I am Courtney! Photography is my passion. I can't put into words how excited I am thinking about a session or a wedding. Giddy like a little kid in a toy store, I suppose! I love details. As small as the sparkling eyeshadow on the bride's eyelid for her special day. The tiny fingernails on a newborn's hands. All the giggles and laughs. Kisses and a loving glance. I want to document every little thing for you. Events and life, in general, can be so busy. I am based in Arlington, Washington, but I serve all of the United States and most countries. I LOVE to travel!

Courtney and her husband were both AMAZING to work with! I had a lot going on and a lot of things popping up that would alter the timeline she created. They were so kind and flexible about it! Definitely made the day less stressful for me! So far, the sneak peaks I have seen are gorgeous! Can’t wait to see the rest!!

Kyle Olthoff Weddings

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Monroe, WA

My aim is to create a film that you can come back to for years to come. I want it to feel cinematic, but more than anything, I want it to feel sentimental. The shots that excite me the most are the candid moments with family, friends, and your fiancé. A little about me; In 2015, my journey into photography began when I bought a camera from a pawn shop. Now, after eight years, I've captured weddings, music videos, and a diverse array of corporate and social media content across the United States. It's been a journey of learning the art of storytelling through still images and video.

Kyle is wonderful. He has an incredible eye and the photos we received are perfectly edited and quick to land in my inbox. He's fun and easy to talk to and definitely makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera (normally something I'm very uncomfortable with). He has a wealth of ideas and is not afraid to help with poses and making sure you look amazing in each photo. I would HIGHLY recommend!

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and have lived here for basically my whole life. I fell in love with photography and it’s ability to make time stand still. It has allowed me to meet so many new people and discover so many new places that it has truly become my dream job. I have two littles, and two doggos, and a wonderful and supportive husband. I have made the Seattle area my home for over 10 years now. My passion other than family and photography, is traveling. I want to see everything this world has to show me.

Samantha is an incredible photographer! I've hired her to be my second photographer at weddings twice, and a third time to assist me when I had a wedding in my third trimester. She works cohesively with my team, is super supportive, dependable, always on time, and genuinely cares for both myself and our couples and ensures that the day runs smoothly and that the couple has the best possible wedding day. Highly recommend her!

I am so thrilled that we found Terra for our wedding in September of 2023! She was great to work with - clear and quick at communicating, fun to be around and made us comfortable in front of the camera, and had lots of ideas for poses and to make the photos unique. Taking pictures on our wedding day was one of our favorite parts of the day because of Terra’s personality and professionalism! She gave us so many great photos from the day, and we also got an engagement shoot with her which was incredible. We will use Terra again and again for all of our photo needs!!! I was fortunate enough to find Garrett and Gracie's contact information at the cafe I worked at on a 2023 goals poster that I made. Right when we got in contact with them we clicked immediately. I have always been critical of photos taken of me, but Gracie and Garrett were able to capture moments that made me feel confident and beautiful. And they captured our wedding in full and we love that we can look over the album and revisit all the excitement and feelings we had on our wedding day and the day after up at Mt. Rainier when we exchanged out private vows. The way they capture light in their photos is like no other. Not only will you receive fantastic photos with Gracie and Garrett you will also make great friends!!!! Thank you again for your amazing work!!!!!!

Sage Trails, LLC - Adventure Elopement & Intimate Wedding Photographer

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Monroe, WA

***I specialize in small events! Elopements and Micro Weddings. Hi Friends! I'm Alexandria! I'm a bubbly, dog lover who loves exploring and experiencing new things, so I'm so lucky to have found my home in Washington. I'm obsessed with tall trees, could stare at the waves crashing against the beach for hours, and love the jaw-dropping feeling I get when I see something truly just majestic in the mountains.

Awarded Best of Zola
I am a wedding planner and Alexandria and I originally met at a wedding we worked together, where I was the planner and she was the photographer. As the planner, it's my job to communicate with the full team of vendors and make sure all of us are on the same page to serve the couple and do the best we can to give them the wedding they envisioned. Through no ones fault, this wedding didn't quite turn out as envisioned because there ended up being a tornado warning! This meant that we had to move what was originally supposed to be an outdoor rooftop ceremony to a banquet hall indoors and it put a lot of the planned outdoor group photography up in the air. Oh boy! I tell this story because now looking back at the photos from that wedding, I think some of the most special ones (at least from my outsider perspective) are the ones she captured from the couple's first look, which happened outdoors in the rain. Rain was not a part of the plan, but is forever now one of the most beautiful memories of this couples day. Alexandria's ability to roll with things and capture the realness of what was happening is not a talent every photographer has (and I've worked with a lot)! She was exactly what you'd look for in a vendor - great communication, being one step ahead of things, knowing exactly where to have her eyes and lens on what was important to capture in the moment. A few years later I was lucky enough to be the coordinator, hired by Alexandria and her husband for their "big" wedding so they were able to enjoy their day. It is always an honor to be a vendor trusted by another vendor for their wedding because they can be understandable more selective in who they want to work with. It was a joy to get to know her more on a personal level through this process, and the values and vibes that are important to her. Her and her husband had already been living in Washington for some time and I could tell the Pacific NW lifestyle was perfect for them, which translates directly into the updated direction of her photography business. I appreciate a vendor that doesn't try and be everything to everyone, and instead focuses on a tailored, personalized experience to be able to specifically serve those they align with the best. Also, listen to me as a planner - Photography is one of the MOST important vendors and spends you should make for your wedding because when everything is said and done, all you will have are those photos. Plan your adventure elopement with her today!

Hi, I am Amy Barrette. I am a Seattle born and raised and coffee enthusiast.Growing up one of my older sister's loved being behind and in front of the camera. She would bring me along to take her photos and slowly I fell in love with the craft, I had a natural talent for. In college I studied graphic design and photography. My favorite subject to photograph is people. It's a beautiful thought knowing I can help create memories for people to show friends, family, and be able to cherish.I am honored to be a photographer and given the chance to be able to capture timeless memories for my clients.

She is highly efficient and delivered pictures in a fast manner. I knew from the start that she was going to be our family photographer for years to come. Highly reliable and knows what she’s doing! She’s definitely a talented photographer!

I love what I do because I get to witness moments of joy and turn them into gorgeous photos that contain the feeling of the moment forever. My style is a little classic, a little editorial, a little photojournalistic, and everything about telling your one and only story. When you look back at your photos in one, five, twenty or fifty years, I want you to remember how the day felt, each photo holding a moment in time.

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Emily for our engagement photos and wedding day photography and can't say enough good things about her. She's organized, she's on top of it, she's super easy going, she's funny, she's thoughtful, and she takes amazing photos that truly capture your day. Working with her was a breeze and our photos were delivered faster than anticipated! On our wedding day, she somehow seamlessly patched in photo sessions, and when we weren't in designated photo sessions, she somehow took a bunch of candid photos and we didn't even realize she was there. We even had a massive bump in the timeline because of football-game-day traffic and road closures, but the timeline Emily built for us had enough buffer that we didn't miss a single photo session AND our wedding started on time... Simply amazing. If you're on the fence, just go with Emily! You will not regret it!

Jonas Seaman Photography

Ages ago I wanted a hobby, so I bought a camera. I started a blog called Americanvirus where I began posting my images. Soon my work was invited to be on exhibit in galleries throughout Europe and Los Angeles. My photos started being used for everything from rock n' roll bands to ad campaigns. The best part was when I started getting emails from people in love asking if I'd consider documenting their wedding day. I tried it and realized I loved it more than I could have ever imagined.

Jonas and Mary were phenomenal to work with for our wedding. They were lowkey and captured so many candid moments of our family and friends that we treasure years later. Jonas captures people with an honesty that shines through years later. Jonas communicated about when to expect digital images and how to order physical copies. My wedding day was a blur, like they all are, but Jonas had a list of pictures that I wanted to get and made sure those happened. He had a great way with the guests to get group pictures and also worked the room to get people as they enjoyed the night. We have a great mix of photos where people are candidly having a great time and groups shots. The quality of our pictures are incredible as well. They are remarkable and wedding guests still request if they can use them for their own uses. Apart from making sure I married the right person, having Jonas capture the day was the best investment I made to make sure our wedding was a lasting memory.

We are a photography & videography husband & wife team based in San Diego and Seattle. We love to travel around the world taking photos! Our editing style is true to life and our goal is to capture the feeling of the moment in our images. We enjoy spending our time outdoors with great company. We love working with clients who share our love for nature and adventure! We like to draw our inspiration from the beauty of the environment and how these surroundings make you feel in the moment. Our goal is to tell your story through our photographs and we hope that they become a memento of a special chapter in your journey.

Dylan and Pauline of Amare Images were so incredible to work with. We booked an engagement shoot with them and absolutely loved their photos so we HAD to have them shoot our wedding. They are two kind people who were easy to talk to and made both my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding photos turned out amazing as well. I loved that they took time to capture candids as well as posed shots. They even offered video services and the video was definitely the highlight of our wedding package. The video had a beautiful, loving song to start and then it transitioned into highlighting the party that our wedding was. Our galleries were delivered in a timely manner and they even sent the audio from our speeches and private vow session. Vic and I loved working with Dylan and Pauline :)

If you are looking for the perfect wedding day 3rd wheel bestie - you have found your girl. PNW Based Photographer located on Camano Island, WA. I am a Military wife and mother of two wild kiddos. I have been in business for over 10 years, and have photographed weddings for 8+ years now. I am a Photographer that is in love with true honest emotional love; the silly faces, the bad jokes, the awkward moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
From Day 1 of communication: Lauren was absolutely so professional. She was super easy to talk to, really direct & transparent, and helped us figure out a package that worked best for us. She was prompt & efficient with all communication. She gave us rights to own & use all of our photos (given a good old tagged link to her profile on social media). —this was extremely important to us! Day 2: we met over the phone to go over things & she again, was soooo prompt and professional. We didn’t love how other photographers were highly intrusive in our love story or the nuances of our love story. As contractors ourselves, we wanted someone that was clear, concise, and transparent with communication & she exceeded our expectations. She was able to accommodate our request to have our Aussie puppy a part of our wedding & our engagement photos. It didn’t hurt that she has a sweet pup that looks virtually identical to our lil boy. Day 3: we meet for the engagement shoot in a DREAM location that was near & dear to our heart, she bought our pup a toy he loves to this day sooooo much! She helped us break out of our awkward selves in front of the camera enough to get some incredible shots that we used for our wedding website, invitations. Day 4: she arrived on time, gave us exceptional service on the day of our wedding. She collaborated seamlessly with our other vendors she’d never met prior. She took incredible irreplaceable pictures/video of our first look. She got us the sweetest previews so incredibly quickly. She recognized how to motivate us (aka a competition) & made it a race to see how fast we could get through our 100 person wedding taking pictures with each guest. She gave us the most generous wedding gift our vendors gave us wedding gifts—sweet freaking above & beyond) & she got our sweet little pup a fantastic present again too. Day 5: she just got us all of our wedding photos back. The entire suite. There’s SOOOOO many pictures. She did a phenomenal job not only capturing our favorite moments, but really giving us the freedom to pick which photos were really valuable to us. She took time & care & really has an incredible eye. As if we weren’t totally obsessed already…Our friends got married a week after us & used a different photographer, and honestly, seeing their photos that were 3x’s as expensive and a quarter of the quality, we were EVEN MORE validated going with Lauren. I highly recommend her services. I can’t wait to get pregnant in the next few months, & I’m 10000000% going to ask her for some epic pregnancy shoots. 100/10

Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I got you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Lacie and her husband are the most incredible photography duo! The photos they capture are absolutely stunning and they capture the wedding and all of the little details beautifully! They never forget a detail to photograph. You can tell through their work how passionate they are and it shines through their photos! I am the owner of Blossom with Love (Florist / Event Design) and I have worked with Lacie a handful of times and every single time I’m blown away by her incredible work! I LOVE working with Lacie and highly recommend to anyone looking for professional photos. You will not regret your decision.

My husband and I got married December 18, 2020. Planning a wedding mid pandemic was not easy but thankfully working with Carly & Kasey was. They were hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day! Easy to work with, professional, kind, accountable... And obviously their work is simply INCREDIBLE. I still stare at our photos and am just in awe at how beautifully and flawlessly our day was captured. Hands down the best of the best in the business!!! You cannot go wrong with booking Drzazga for your big day!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. We had so many guests come up to us and compliment her and that was before we even got the photos back. She sent us our sneak peeks the next day and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. She captured so many beautiful moments and her style is exactly what we wanted. Nothing felt “overly edited” just perfectly genuine. I cannot recommend Ali enough. I cannot wait to see the full gallery of photos because I know they will be nothing short of perfect.

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
Leah photographed our wedding at my family's property in Napa Valley, June 2024. Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. I felt like I was looking at photos from a Brides magazine, but it was me! Another thing I'll mention is that Leah gives direction in a kind, calm and encouraging way. My husband is not too confident in photos and he felt SO comfortable posing with her there, and loves his photos too! I felt like she could guide me into more flattering poses when I felt uncertain about my angles. I love Leah and her work and would recommend her to anyone!

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.
