Hello there! ! I’m Jen Lee, a wedding photographer in Seattle for over 8 years, I consider it an honor and privilege to be entrusted with documenting the most significant chapters in a couple's life. In my early years as a Creative Portrait Director shooting professional models and full editorials, I immersed myself in the world of visual storytelling. Creating these captivating narratives allowed me to move into the real world of weddings. BOOK HER! You won’t regret it!
From the moment we booked JL Thomas Photography, Jennifer was a dream to work with. Her communication was crystal clear, informative, fun, and friendly throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer not only prioritized our list of photos, but helped enforce our timeline and herd our guests when they didn't want to be where we needed them. She was a true stress reducer on my wedding day. The quality of her work is exceptional, exceeding our expectations in every way. In all honesty, I always get nervous when other people take pictures of me, thanks to different camera angles and a fluctuating body weight. I was terrified that I would see myself in photos of the most beautiful day of my life, and see myself as less than… but let me tell you, I have never felt more confident in sharing pictures than the ones we received. Jennifer’s tips on posing, feedback in the moment, and constant reassurance built my confidence, and it showed. The sneak peeks we received were absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to see the rest. The value of Jennifer's services is incredible - honestly, I think she should charge more, even though I’m glad her packages were within our budget. She felt like a true friend to us, and I cannot recommend her enough. I brag about how amazing she is every time I talk about our wedding - which is a lot. We are so glad we chose her, not only to capture our special day, but to be part of it as well.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience with JL Thomas Photography! From our first meeting to the final delivery of our photos, they were nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism, creativity, and passion for photography truly shine through in every shot. On the big day, Jennifer was a calming presence, she captured every moment without being intrusive. She has an incredible talent but knowing how to make you feel comfortable, beautiful and not camera shy. I am obsessed with our photos and I am an awe, the attention to detail is evident; from the candid shots of our guests enjoying themselves to the stunning portraits of us as a couple. The way Jennifer captured the emotion and joy of our wedding day is something we will cherish forever. The turn around was just as promised, she delivered our photos about 7 weeks after our wedding and gave us a sneak peak a couple days after the wedding. If you’re looking for a talented photographer who will go above and beyond to make your wedding memories unforgettable this is it. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Jennifer is the upmost professional and truly the easiest to work with. When our wedding planning began, my wife and I had no idea where to start or what questions to ask. We decided to start with finding the best photographer possible...and then found Jennifer on Zola. All the reviews truly reflect what an amazing experience it is to work with Jennifer. She immediately put us at ease, took the time to get to know us, and made each shoot with her comfortable and fun. She really captured who we are and found the best locations to shoot at. Amazing Photographer - Far Exceeded Expectations!
This review is very late because things have been so busy since the wedding, but we had to give a HUGE shout out to Jennifer. She was very talented and professional. Jennifer met with us in person beforehand to ensure she understood what we were looking for regarding photos. She listened to us and incorporated all our requests day-of. I normally am very awkward and uncomfortable in photos, but Jennifer made everything feel so natural. Day-of we did not even notice she was there (in the best way) - she was there to capture the most beautiful moments in such a respectful manner. The pictures came out more beautiful than we ever imagined. She was very creative in the shots she suggested and in way she made our dream photos come to life. Thank you, Jennifer, for preserving our memories in such a beautiful way!
