Venture Ever After
My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.
I do this work for two reasons: Because I love people and I love the planet. People - I love all types of people, and yet all types of people are not always celebrated in the wedding industry, or in outdoor spaces. F that. You deserve a wedding experience you’ll never forget, regardless of what you look like, how old you are, or who you love. Planet - I’m a Leave No Trace aware photographer, conserving energy through my personal and business choices, and continuing to lean into environmental activism. Giving Back - I donate $200 to an organization of your choice when you book with me.

AMAZING, RELIABLE, BREATHTAKING PHOTOS!
Hiring Nadia as our wedding photographer for our wedding was the BEST decision we made (aside from getting married!) If you are on the fence to book her, please do as you will not be disappointed. Her speedy responses, calm, light-hearted yet direct and professional manner, and overall, friendly demeanor was exactly what we needed in a photographer. She is by far our favorite vendor we worked with and one of the few I did not have to track down to get a response. She genuinely gets to know you and your partner to ensure your photos are exactly what you envision. Having gorgeous outdoor photos that captured the beautiful scenery of our wedding ceremony was the most important thing to me for my big day and I as I started my search for a micro-wedding photographer who specialized in outdoor adventure photography, I was quickly overwhelmed but set at ease when I came across Nadia. From the initial video consultation, I knew Nadia’s personality, structured organization and kindness was a perfect match for me and my husband. We are both shy people who do not like to be the center of attention, let alone enjoy people taking our photos, so having a photographer we were comfortable with was extremely important. We booked an engagement session so we could meet Nadia before our big day and get beautiful photos at the coast. We were on the fence if we needed to book an engagement shoot but we are SO HAPPY we did. I would recommend this 100%. Not only did we get to know Nadia in a more casual setting, but she got to know us and what kind of photos we liked. This gave us a good practice run so we could start getting comfortable in front of the camera, and our dog, who would be part of our ceremony, enjoyed it as well. When it came time for our wedding morning, Nadia was the only vendor I was not worried about. Leading up to wedding day, she was always in communication with us (including both me and my husband on all emails which I appreciate), checking to ensure we were all on the same page and happy with the timeline. And oh, the timeline! Nadia makes the day run so smooth and stress free because she already did all the research and homework ahead of time! As a very organized, thorough person, this made me so happy and knew she had everything under control. She was always available when we had questions or concerns and would reply to our emails within the day. She listened to what our vision for the day was and always kept that in mind. When shooting, she shot photos we requested as well as spots she knew would look great. Our first look and private vows were our most important photos for the day and we decided to do about a mile hike so we can get some action shots in the forest. It was a rainy October day and we were covered in mud and freezing but Nadia never once complained. When we had about 30 mins left with her at the end of the night, she checked in to make sure there were no last minute photos we wanted before heading. Once we received our photos back we were blown away by how beautiful they were. The photos instantly brought smiles and tears to our eyes as we reminisced about the memories we had from that day. Our day was what it was thanks to Nadia and I know she will be our go-to photographer for every occasion moving forward. Overall, if you are thinking about hiring Nadia - DO IT! You will not regret it. I could not speak more highly of her professionalism, kindness, organization, familiarity, and of course, her talent!
Incredible Photographer
Nadia went above and beyond all expectations of a wedding photographer. We were fortunate to have her photograph our engagement session and outdoor wedding with 140 guests. After going through the whole wedding planning experience, we were so grateful for how helpful she was in so many different ways. While we had a wedding coordinator, that didn't stop Nadia from helping us plan our day from the very first meeting (i.e. recommending DJ's, small businesses in the Portland area, and other vendors). She was always available to answer our questions, talk through timelines, and help us with decision making. Most importantly, the photos were INCREDIBLE!! We love them so much as they truly capture our perfect day and will give us a lifetime of memories to look back on. We simply could not recommend Nadia enough!!

When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Nadia is by far one of the most amazing individuals we have ever worked with. From the very start she was attentive, caring, professional and really created an experience we didn't even know we wanted!!! The questions she asked to help us dream about our perfect engagement photo shoot and wedding day literally came to life. We didn't even know we wanted an engagement photoshoot and now this is one of our most cherished memories. We felt incredibly comfortable and connected the entire time along with precious moments I didn't even know could be captured. On our wedding day, she was so incredibly organized, she kept us moving without feeling rushed and we even got the little moments away from all of the activity to be together and really soak up our day. The photos are stunning, as we looked over them we could feel the emotion we were feeling on our wedding day, you can't make that up. We cannot recommend her more - if you don't book with her, you're missing out not only on beautiful memories but also getting to meet one of the most kind individuals to walk this planet!
