 The Tom s. Gettys Center (formerly, Gettys Art Center), managed by the Arts Council of York County, is located in the Downtown Rock Hill Cultural District. It is a true arts destination for York county as it is home to offices of the Arts Council of York County, the Rock Hill Pottery Center, Art on Main, Concerts at the Courtroom, Hill City Church, and artist studios. Swanee Theatre opened as a single screen movie theatre in 1940 and operated as such up until the 70's. In 2019 it was purchased and renovated into what it is now, a beautiful historic entertainment venue.
