The team at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their communication was always punctual and they went above and beyond to ensure we were informed and accommodated throughout the planning process. The venue itself is truly stunning, with beautifully manicured grounds, vibrant florals, and well-kept facilities. Our ceremony on the Four Seasons Lawn and reception in the Great Hall were both picture-perfect, and our guests raved about the elegant cocktail hour in the Crepe Myrtle Grove. The bridal and groom's suites were an added bonus that allowed us to comfortably get ready on-site. Special shout-out to Monica, who was amazing and made our day run seamlessly. We couldn't be happier with our choice to host our wedding at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Overall, our wedding day turned out okay and the gardens are beautiful. I held a micro-wedding there and the value for that was good. The communication from the venue was terrible. When we went to visit and book the event, we were not told that the bride, groom and wedding party could arrive an hour before our scheduled time and this lack of information caused us to book and pay for an additional hour. Early on we had a few questions and those were answered via email w/o a problem. We were told someone would contact us about a month before our date to confirm our details and go over things with us. This never happened and 9 days before the wedding I sent an email asking about meeting. Multiple emails and multiple calls later someone finally called my husband back and not me 4 days before the wedding. I still had questions and tried calling back multiple times, they said they attempted to call me but there were no voicemails and I did not get an email back until 3 days before the wedding and multiple details for the ceremony were wrong. It took me asking how to cancel the ceremony and get my money back for someone to finally call me back (I had made a backup plan at this point). The excuse I was given was that they could not understand the last 2 numbers of my phone number on voicemail, even though I had left a physical message with a person who wrote my number down and I included my phone number in every email. There was never more than an 'I'm sorry' one time over the phone. We were not offered a rehearsal time until 2 days before the wedding and we had not planned for it so we could not come on the day they offered because we had family coming into town to deal with. There was never really any explanation as to why I had to initiate contact and they never contacted us to go over our details. Last, we were told we would be the only ones in the gardens during our time because our wedding was on a Monday, instead they had a large family photo session booked at the same time. They had also told them there wouldn't be anyone there during their time. Overall, a lot of unnecessary stress was cause and aside form the location being beautiful and our ceremony going well because of our friends and family stepping in, I wouldn't recommend or hold another event there.
