The Evergreen Estate was envisioned by two college sweethearts as a place to enjoy life's finest moments with the people you love most. We wanted to create an authentic special events venue that embraces nature and allows our guests to enjoy themselves and make memories that last. We are committed to delivering excellent quality of service, transparency, and thoughtfulness to our community. Our waterfront venue sits on nine acres and is surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees. Our indoor and outdoor social spaces were thoughtfully designed with smooth-flowing events in mind. About Haw River Ballroom The Haw River Ballroom is a beautiful riverside venue set in the former Dye House of Saxapahaw’s Historic Cotton Mill. With three levels, a riverside deck, coffeehouse, full service stage and state of the art sound and lighting system, gorgeous historic detail, vintage furnishings, solar and geothermal power, climate control, and an idyllic rural river setting and lovely pollinator garden just minutes from Chapel Hill there is just no other place quite like it. Beautifully situated at the top of a hill overlooking a lake on approximately 450 acres tree farm and wildlife preserve. The Longhouse building has a large hall that can be used in a variety of ways. It's cathedral ceiling and large stone hearth make it both beautifully spacious and warm and inviting.
