This Little Light Bakery and Caribbean Delights was founded by Suerence Marcelle in 2019. Suerence is a self-taught pastry chef who started baking as a hobby making candy apples and chocolate treats. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Suerence expanded her baking talents to display her Caribbean roots in some of her delicacies such as black cake and Caribbean pastries. A year later Suerence expanded from treats to making pastries and designing wedding cakes. Seeing how people reacted to her flavors and work of art she knew she took the right step in her business. She prides herself in the artwork of her desserts and gourmet layered donuts.

Karyn and Jeff Schwerzler are the culinary artists behind Frosted Pumpkin Gourmet. They found the path to live and to their professional passion when they met in culinary school many moons ago. Jeff recalls that from the moment he met Karyn, who was studying pastry arts, she knew she wanted to create beautiful wedding cakes. Twenty-one years ago Karyn and Jeff uprooted their successful specialty cake company in New York to slow down life's hectic pace and start a family in the South!
