A photography professionally since 1997, my photographic skills were honed back in the days of film, working in my family's advertising agency. The catalyst which caused me to make this career shift was a cancer diagnosis in 2008. Having cancer causes you to reevaluate a lot of things about how you spend the time you have left in this world.
