Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

My goal is for you to look at your photos and recognize you, as you are - not someone who is all propped, posed, and generally uncomfortable. You'd be amazed by how much more a photo can mean to you when you look at it and don't recall ever being aware of or pressured from the camera. You can recognize you, recognize the real.

We cannot say enough good things about Corey! As people who aren't always comfortable in front of the camera, we wanted to find a photographer who really captured the energy of the day beyond just the traditional portraits. Corey's documentary style was exactly what we were looking for - when we got the first pictures back, we couldn't stop smiling because he truly captured the emotion of the day perfectly. All we've talked about since our wedding is how much we want to relive that one perfect day, and Corey's photos are the way we can relive every step of it. Beyond the quality of his work, which speaks for itself, on the day of our wedding Corey was somehow everywhere, getting shots of everything, while blending into the fabric of the day so seamlessly.
