About Urquhart Weddings
Ian Urquhart
Hi, my name is Ian! I'm the Head Photographer at Urquhart Weddings and an easy going wedding vendor dedicated to making your wedding day as stress-free as possible. I primarily cover the New Hampshire region but am always happy to travel throughout New England! I strongly believe in building connections with the couples I work with. If we're local to each other, I'm always up for grabbing a coffee and a breakfast sandwich to get to know each other and chat. Bonus points if you love talking about music!
Accepting the responsibility of capturing a wedding day is an honor I hold close. Whether we're discussing photography or recommending other vendors, I'm always happy to help make the planning process as smooth as possible. There’s no guidebook to wedding planning, but one thing I can promise is a seamless experience when you have me as your photographer.

The best there is!
We booked Ian to photograph our wedding and we could not have made a better decision! Ian is incredible at what he does, very easy going, helps pose, deals with all the annoying relatives, and has a big part in making an extremely stressful day that much easier. Even guests at our wedding raved about how Ian was everywhere but no where all at once. Always taking pictures but never in the way. Ian’s finished product did not disappoint either. Crisp clear photographs with incredible edits. I would book with Ian a thousand times over.
Outstanding Professional and a killer creator
Ian went above and beyond all day to make sure we got fantastic photos. He stayed later than we expected and didn’t miss a single moment. Ian was incredibly easy to work with, professional, and very communicative throughout the lead up to our wedding day. I would recommend him in a heart beat!!
Literal Perfection!
Ian went well over and above to help ensure our special day was perfect! The photos he took are absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more. It was truly like an old friend shooting our wedding - Ian made sure that we were relaxed and at ease, which was captured beautifully! My husband and I are both shy and don’t like our pictures taken, so we are both over the moon with how everything came out :) Great experience, amazing pictures & he’s a genuinely great guy - 10/10 would recommend over and over!
The best experience!
My fiancé and I booked our engagement photo shoot with Ian at Boston Common. He arrived on time and scoped out the best spots for pictures. Ian made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, especially in such a public place. We had so much fun and were laughing so much the time flew by! We got our edited photos back quickly and had a hard time choosing just one for Save the Dates. They’re artistic, timeless and really show our personalities. I would recommend Ian for anything wedding related!
