Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Whatever your style, with over 140 pieces of decor, if you can picture it in the space, we can make it happen.

We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The smaller of the two, the Westfield room, has a capacity of 50-150 people (minimum of 100 people on a Saturday and 50 any other day of the week). We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.

The Log Cabin is a mountaintop venue with lavish grounds and spectacular panoramic views of the valley. Found in the heart of Western Massachusetts, the Log Cabin is easily accessible from major East Coast cities. As well as featuring a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, The Log Cabin features two ballrooms that can accommodate up to 400 guests. For a full outdoor experience, weddings can also be held at the open-air Upper Vista reception tent. The 571-acre Scott Farm, a The Landmark Trust USA property, is home to 130 varieties of ecologically-grown heirloom apples and other fine fruits, a seasonal Farm Market, and the Apple Barn Event Center. All 23 buildings on the property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A popular wedding venue, the farm is surrounded by four authentically-restored historic year-round vacation rental properties accommodating up to 22 guests—one of which is Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha where he penned the Jungle Book. The Stone Trust Education Center, located in the 1862 Barn, showcases beautiful, unique dry-stone wall installations around the property. The Apple Barn accommodates up to 120 guests, has a commercial kitchen, three restrooms, one is wheelchair accessible. Overlooking the farm and mountains, a delightful spot for special occasions, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The Greenport The Greenport is perhaps the most elegant space of its type in the Hudson Valley. It features a historic school gymnasium, which has been refurbished while still retaining many breathtaking architectural details. The Greenport offers 2 getting ready rooms, use of our full catering kitchen for your caterer, ballroom, cocktail lounge and patio (weather permitting), guest tables, 6’ & 8’ tables, china, flatware, glassware, stage, venue coordinator, mahogany chiavari chairs, and on-site guest parking.
