About this venue

We are Northampton's newest, most modernized banquet facility, however Union Station has been a fixture for over 100 years. Originally built in 1897, Union Station pairs history and modernization, with our premiere 200 seat ballroom, three restaurants, and adjoining ancillary spaces such as The Atrium, The Lounge, and The Blue Goose. We host an array of events that are just as unique as we are! Weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, corporate events, and more.

The Heart of Union Station

This space pairs modern luxury with the rich history of Union Station. Union Station was designed by H.H. Richardson, of the "holy trinity of American architecture". The Roosevelt Room is a clear nod to Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, while it remains the most modernized banquet space in the Valley. Perfect for large events such as weddings, but not to be overlooked for intimate occasions. Come see why this space is often called “the heart of Union Station”

We cannot recommend Union Station enough! Neil and his staff were wonderful to work with, professional and attentive to all the details. They made the planning process fun and easy, and our wedding day was beautiful, and everyone raves about the food! We loved using the tunnel bar for photos and having the groomsmen hang out there before the ceremony.

We can't say enough great things about Neil and his team. Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations. The room looked beautiful, the food was delicious. Neil made sure that we had everything we needed for our wedding day. We are so grateful for Neil and his team, you'll be in great hands with them.

From the moment we booked our wedding at Union Station Banquets, their communication was prompt, thorough, and incredibly helpful. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a classic and unique style that perfectly matched the vision we had for our special day. Neil, the venue coordinator, was spectacular to work with - he was open to all of our ideas and had the ability to turn them into reality. The staff was easy to work with and very attentive throughout the entire evening, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. We had an absolutely stunning wedding at Union Station Banquets, and would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a classic and unique space for their big day.

As soon as we toured Union Station Banquets, my parents, fiance, and I all agreed that it was the perfect venue. The architecture is beautiful, the layout is easy for guests, and there are unique historical touches to make it special. The packages are surprisingly affordable and met our needs. What we didn't discover until later was how amazing the coordinator, Neil, and his staff are. They are truly professionals. They are responsive to inquiries, extremely organized, and just altogether on top of things. They took care of everything for us, making planning and executing the wedding day a breeze. The day went off without a hitch and we are still receiving so many compliments from guests about how great their experience was. I really can't imagine going through the whole wedding process without Neil and his team; it would have been so overwhelming, especially since I don't have as much time as the average bride to devote to wedding planning and coordinating all the little nuances involved. We did splurge on the Asian Station and the ice cream sundae/coffee bar, both were big hits and really helped to keep the party flowing for adults and kids alike. We would recommend Union Station Banquets to anyone, amazingly through a year of working together to coordinate our day we don't have a single negative comment to make about them, they are outstanding!
