Friendship Botanic Gardens is a unique, beautiful setting for the outdoor wedding and other special events. Weddings are scheduled from mid-May through mid-October. Fountains splash, birds sing, and trees tower above. The Gardens include over one hundred acres of woods and landscaped areas, providing one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in Northwest Indiana. The Gardens can accommodate a small and intimate wedding ceremony of a few family and friends, or a larger wedding ceremony up to 300 guests. Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan.
