The Crystal Ballroom is a 1913 historic ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houston’s Rice Hotel. Originally the capitol of the Republic of Texas, this is one of Houston's most unique and historic landmarks. The Ballroom is resplendent with crystal chandeliers, heroic murals, 35-foot ceilings and a full wraparound terrace. The large event space and adjunct 1,400 square foot parlor provide an ample space for up to 400 guests for a seated meal, with a dance floor. The Crystal Ballroom partners with skilled teams that have developed carefully curated food and beverage menus, tested to absolute perfection, and tailored to any taste and budget.

Avant Garden is located in a 1896 historic house, centrally located in the Montrose/Midtown area. We specialize in beautiful low stress wedding ceremonies and receptions AvantGarden is a one stop all inclusive wedding venue, florist and coordinator. We offer dj services, full bar services, valet parking services and all the amenities to make your special day wonderful and fun!
