The estate house and the historic chapel date back to 1838. We take pride in being able to have our couples be a part of the history of the estate. The property has grand shade trees all throughout providing a beautiful backdrop for you ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. With stunning indoor and outdoor options including our stunning greenhouse inspired event building, beautiful overnight rooms, and full weekend rentals, Waverly Estate is able to offer peace of mind on your wedding day.

We are a completely solar system venue, so not having power the day of your wedding will not be an issue. We offer multiple scenes for your pictures from open fields, apple orchard, pond, beach area, a creek, and woods. So much to choose from. We love hosting wedding and events for others and building lasting relationships.

With multiple hotels and countless Airbnbs for your guests to stay, our convenient location also offers a wonderful selection of places to shop, dine, and play all within walking distance from of our venue.

Panoramic waterfront views, light and airy barn-inspired architecture, and unparalleled service and support make The Boathouse at Sunday Park a destination-worthy venue just minutes from Richmond. Our couples have the opportunity to work with two impeccable event spaces: The Ceremony Garden exudes an ambiance of tranquility with 360-degree scenic views. To enhance the experience a tent can be erected allowing guests to continue to enjoy the outside natural splendor regardless of the weather. The Garden Pavillion is a fully-enclosed event private event building with heating and air-conditioning for year-round comfort. The venue can host upwards of 150 people and more than 200 with additional tenting.

For those who believe in magic and fairytales. Tucked into the trees, the fairies invite you into their realm for your wedding day. The cottage is separated into 3 levels, two bedchambers, two full baths, library, atrium, full kitchen, woodburning stoves and upper and lower patios with an outdoor stone fireplace.
