“We couldn't be happier with Marty at our recent wedding! From start to finish, he exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, his attention to detail is amazing -- he noticed a discrepancy between the couple introduction song that we had put in the Vibo app versus what our day of coordinator had on her wedding timeline. He then reached out to the day of coordinator to figure out which song was correct. He also took the time to understand what we were looking for for our cocktail hour and wedding reception. He reached out many times prior to our wedding to check in with us and make sure that all of our questions were answered. It was clear that he genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience. Marty is also flexible. Originally the plan was for our dance floor to be outside. However, due to a heat wave we ended up deciding to move the dance floor inside. Marty was able to easily accommodate this request and he also offered to put speakers outside so guests who were out on the deck would still be able to hear the music. We also recommend going with the up-lighting. He did a great job setting up the lights. The lights actually change colors and really change the vibe of the reception room once the party gets started! The live music he delivered during cocktail hour was a standout of the night. We had so many compliments from guests about his cocktail hour performance. Another aspect that truly set Marty apart was his willingness to go above and beyond. Not only did he do a great job reading the vibe of the room in order to keep the dance floor lively, but at one point he also helped with cleaning up dinner plates. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”
