You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

“DJ Casanova was recommended to us by our venue and we could not have been happier with our decision to have him DJ our wedding reception. He is extremely organized and responsive. He shared a wedding planning sheet with us that allowed us to build our timeline and reception playlist. He also allowed us to create our own playlists for cocktail hour and dinner music (though he has some of his own playlists that we 'stole' some songs from too). What really made DJ Casanova stand out was that he met with us virtually (we don't live in the DMV area) multiple times before our wedding. His main focus during the first session was to learn about us as individuals and a couple, as well as our families. The second session was focused on logistics, name pronunciations, etc. He was extremely receptive to our requests and made the wedding day exactly what we wanted. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field.
