Our wedding at Chateau was nothing short of phenomenal. We had our ceremony and reception here, and I wouldn’t change a single thing. We were able to take photos on the golf course before the ceremony and it was gorgeous during golden hour! We loved that our guests didn’t need to drive to a different location between the ceremony and reception. All of the staff are amazing. My husband and I were catered to all night and our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. We loved having the tables, chairs, table cloths, other decor, food, drinks, and more all provided for us. Some venues were charging per table and chair and requiring caterers for food and drinks, so it really made everything much easier to have it all provided by the venue. Any time we had questions leading up to the wedding, the staff was so helpful. I hardly had to worry about a single thing when it came to the venue, because Chateau handled it all for us. I could go on and on about how amazing everything was, but just take my word for it: it was AMAZING. Look no further!!

Located in the heart of Metairie, The Alexander Room and Terrace is truly a hidden gem. The Alexander Room was conceived and built by the International Brotherhood of Electricians in 1984. The intent was for The Alexander Room to be a contender among Metairie’s event venues. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the room was never marketed to the general public. In 2014, Troy and Cindy Timphony of Hobnobber Café were approached with the idea of taking over the catering, management and marketing of the Alexander Room. Over the course of the next few years improvements were made, menus prepared and website and social media added to bring you the polished jewel that is The Alexander Room and Terrace.

Mrs. Cindy, the Timphony family, & all of the staff here at The Alexander Room are the absolute best. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and was an absolute dream come true. From day one, Mrs. Cindy made sure to check in with our stress levels, and assure us that she would be there for anything we needed. To say we felt special, and taken care of, is such an understatement. The venue is incredible, with a spacious indoor, and a fabulous terrace overlooking the best parts of Metairie. The guests ate up the indoor/outdoor experience, and were all able to mingle very well with the layout. And the food —- off the charts. We got SO many compliments on the food! If you’re hesitating, don’t. This is the place for your special day.

From start to finish, everything was perfect. The Captain and Crew were amazing—friendly, professional, and always ensuring we had the best time. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the trip exceptional. Safety was a top priority, and we felt completely secure throughout the entire journey. The crew's expertise and knowledge of the area added to our peace of mind, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment on the water. The boat itself was stunning—a true gem on the water. Immaculately maintained and beautifully designed, it provided the perfect setting for our adventure. Chateau LeMoyne - French Quarter, A Holiday Inn Hotel Is an affordable venue for an intimate venue that will comfortably hold 75-80 guests. Our experience was fantastic from the start. I had no clue what I was doing but requested info from venues on the Knot. This venue was by far the most professional, their info “packet” isn’t a pdf… it’s a website! They were by far the most affordable venue. The space rental includes tables, chairs, high top tables, etc. (which is something you may find you have to ask about the hidden cost of). They contract with Messina’s Catering & Events and our Catering Manager Lauren was a dream to work with! Below I share, a portion of the email I sent to her and Lizzy, the Sales Manager at the venue: “Thank you again for a wonderful wedding weekend! I cannot tell you both what an amazing time we had. We got so many compliments about the venue and the food. Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Knowing that we chose not to do a lot of normal wedding traditions and kind of just did our own thing.... I think that really comes down to how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how wonderful all the staff were to all of our guests. Everyone from the valet to the front desk staff, the servers and bartenders, the setup crew, and both of you! Lizzy was so right about the Second Line, I loved it more than I thought I would, and our guests are still raving about it multiple days later. And Lauren you were so supportive of all of our ideas and I truly think I would have gone crazy without you!” Without a doubt one of the best decisions we made was to have our wedding at Chateau LeMoyne! We loved everything about the Margaret Place. Communication was easy, the owner was quick with responses and accommodating for all of our questions and needs. The space is very modular so you can change the layout/floorplan to your exact desire. We had the ceremony followed by a second line while they flipped the space for the rehearsal. It was all so streamlined and when we got back the space had a whole different vibe. We had the dance floor in the loung, which made it a little more intimate and it looked amazing! My fiance and I met on Bourbon St, so we knew we needed to get married there, but we didn't want it to be a spring break style dirty booze fest. We are so lucky to have found the Royal Sonesta, a true hidden gem. Getting married in the courtyard was a dream. The fountain was such a beautiful and elegant touch. Getting to do the Second Line around the hotel (the busiest block) was the coolest thing ever. My guests LOVED IT. The amount of people who stopped and danced with us was unreal. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding, and so may of my guests told me so. The spread was insane, from cocktail hour to the raw bar...so delicious and epic. Get the chargrilled oyster attendant, people could not stop talking about and I felt so bougie. The cake was included in our wedding package and was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary! Now the best for last, the Royal Sonesta staff. We planned everything with Olivia, who sadly left a couple weeks before our big day, but Monique handled everything on our wedding day and was the kindest, most attentive queen. We love her forever! The planning process was a breeze, it felt like I was planning an epic party with a good friend. Olivia made an overwhelming process so fun and enjoyable! From the moment I checked in, everyone treated us and our family like royalty. There were so many small thoughtful touches, like cookies waiting in my mother in laws room. I'll cherish that day forever and so much of the reason is because of how special the Royal Sonesta made it.

I first stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel for my sister's wedding when I was five years old. Immediately, I knew the Omni was going to be a part of my future wedding. When my fiancé, Henry, and I got engaged at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I immediately emailed the Omni for pricing and to book a tour. Within two or three weeks, the Grand Salon Ballroom was ours. Due to the pandemic, Henry and I were shuffled to various individuals in the catering department, but we were finally graced with Joni Clark, who literally made our dream wedding become a reality. I cannot say enough about how perfect my wedding weekend was. My guests and I were treated with excellent hospitality and professionalism! The food and alcohol was to DIE for!!! Joni, Michael, Dan, and my personal assistant, JJ, were BEYOND amazing throughout the day and night of my wedding!! Because Joni and I had formed such a close bond, it was so heartwarming to hug her goodbye before heading to the church. And, it was so lovely to see Michael and Joni waiting for us with glasses of champagne upon our arrival back. If I could relive my wedding weekend over and over again, I would. It was truly a fairytale wedding.

I am so excited to write this review for the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar Team. We live in Maryland, and while I have family who is local to NOLA, we were taking a chance on a venue we had never visited. But, even working with Chloe before our contract was signed, I felt confident that all of my questions were getting answered, and that even the questions I hadn’t thought to ask, would still be taken care of. And I was right. We worked with their team from June 2023 to our wedding weekend August 2024 and Chloe and I slowly worked through every possible detail before we arrived. We got to visit the venue in January and they were such gracious hosts to us and my family. We even got to meet more of the team, all just as warm and kind. During our visit they treated us to a bar tasting to curate our menu with their award winning bar tenders, as well as had our caterers come in to customize our menu. And the food, was of course New Orleans level taste and quality. DELICIOUS. We were huge fans of all the vendors they suggested, from the band, to the bakeries for our cake, to the amazing photographer and videographer skills you see in the photos attached. They prioritized our needs, and always listened to what we requested, while also providing expert guidance when we weren’t sure what was the best plan. Even in the middle of the thunderstorms that arrived the week leading up to our day, they ensured our plan was in tact with a tent that was so beautifully decorated I couldn’t believe it wasn’t part of the original layout. As our guests arrived to stay for the weekend, and filed in on Saturday for the wedding, we continued to receive such beautiful feedback on how attentive they were to guests before, during, and after the wedding. We plan to continue to be visitors of this awesome hotel and bar to reminisce our magical day, but I want to make sure other couples get the chance to experience the care, warmth, and amazing service provided by the Royal Frenchmen team for their special day.

The church has served as a haven and gathering place for over a century and a half, and now, we open her doors to you and yours. Access to the space for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception includes a 4.5 hour event. We also welcome ceremony-only and reception-only events. Our venue is a part of the greater Hotel Peter and Paul, with 71 hotel rooms across three historic buildings, the former schoolhouse, convent and rectory. All are available to rent during your wedding weekend and to keep your guests close by for this momentous occasion.

You can feel the history and romance as soon as you step foot in this venue. It’s elegant and breathtaking. Very little decor needed to make your wedding spectacular. The hotel attached is also a wonderful place to stay and get ready on your wedding day. It was so fun running into guest in the halls. It felt like living in a dorm with all the people you love. The staff and service is excellent and the style is impeccable. Molly the event coordinator was quick to reply and very helpful in having wedding objects shipped to the hotel as we were coming from out of town. It doesn’t hurt that the Elysian bar is serving up some of the best cocktails in New Orleans (meaning some of the best in the world) right across the courtyard. Everything on the wedding day ran seamlessly. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location.

Greg and I couldn’t be happier with the venue or the service that the Lake House Reception Center provided! We had recently been to another couple’s wedding at a popular venue in Baton Rouge. The food was terrible, the cake was terrible and the over all coordination of the wedding was lacking. Lauren guided me through every step and calmed my nerves about all my concerns.
