The NOPSI Hotel, New Orleans, formerly New Orleans Public Service, Inc., offers a new, fresh perspective on luxury in the city of New Orleans. As one of Conde Nast Traveler 20 Best Hotels in 2019 and a 2020 TripAdvisor Traveler Choice Award Winner, our AAA 4 Diamond property offers world class service in a beautiful historic setting. NOPSI is the newest luxury property in more than 20 years and fully embraces its past as the once headquarter of the city’s power utilities company from 1927 to 1986. Architecturally unique with a grand lobby featuring a dramatic 21-foot-high vaulted ceiling, ornamental ceilings, restored terrazzo flooring, furnishings, fixtures, papers and other memorabilia are displayed throughout the hotel. Even the restaurant and rooftop pool and bar have utility related names like Public Service and Above the Grid.

Dryades Ballroom is the city’s premier venue for wedding events. This Ballroom offers the most authentic gathering experience in the Crescent City.
The stunning Dryades Ballroom is 4,000 square feet of breathtaking, one of a kind event space. Located in the former New Orleans Public Service Inc. building, the historically significant and industrially elegant Dryades Ballroom features eighteen foot arched windows and exposed brick walls.
