Originally built as a citrus barn in the late 70’s, our rustic and elegantly charming event venue comfortably seats 200 guests. A canopy of mossy oaks surrounds the outdoor ceremony site with market lights strung to create a romantic glow. A paved walkway leads to your happily ever after where vows are exchanged in front of our wooden gazebo. In the air-conditioned reception room, guests will enjoy comfortable seating under our lofty ceiling where draping and twinkle lights create a delightful starry sky atmosphere. We started our Ranch in 2008 with just cattle. We built our house here in 2011 and in 2012 our son and daughter in law decided to have their wedding here. After that we had a lot of people asking to have a wedding or an event here, so we decided to build our Barn to share our beautiful property for weddings, receptions, parties, fundraiser or special event.

The Secret Garden at Paradise Spring™ is a luxury estate for people who are looking for privacy, flexibility, and value in their wedding venue. The estate includes overnight accommodations for up to 16. This allows you ample time for a rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and of course ceremony. The garden itself is nestled under the shade of several hundred year old grandfather oaks, that give way to a natural alter. The outdoor ceremony space includes enough room to seat up to 160 guests. Just outside of downtown Tampa sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom. Orlo J. Spafford, the president of the Tampa National Bank, built the Orlo in 1896 to share with his son and his family. In 1922 the Orlo was sold to the Tampa Women’s Club where the addition of a ballroom was made to host formal parties and extravagant dances. This historical ballroom still stands today and is ready to host your next party or extravaganza. Some of our favorite features are our gorgeous bridal suite on the second floor. It has so much natural lighting (a photographers dream) and large enough for you and your bridal party to get ready on your wedding morning! The Orlo has been restored and still has the original wood floors, chandeliers, and grand staircase. It is the perfect blank slate for your wedding or event!

Hardeman has been influenced by his love of travel in many of his designs, and the Secret Garden is no exception. Each of the areas in the Garden has an exotic, but natural feel, balancing risk and modern appeal in an expert fashion. The Secret Garden also features an educational garden, earning the distinction as an Agri-Tourism location in Florida.The Secret Garden is the culmination of Hardeman’s life and work. It is meant to teach, be enjoyed by those who visit, and act as a monument to his vision of what this world can offer to one’s senses.
